Very nice engine sound. It’s quiet compared to the other engines on the smaller types of aircraft such as the 737 family and the A320 family. I really like the NEO types of airbus aircraft because the new engine is a BIG upgrade than the other engines. Those are nice too, but they roar like a lion and are quite loud. Also the NEO aircrafts don’t only have new engines, they also have other improvements for the cabin crew and the passengers.

Yeah, I flew on SE-ROO, a very new SAS A320neo delivered end of May this year, with the CFM LEAP-1A engines, and wow, it's even quieter than the A380. But the only problem is that the rear lavatories are replaces with another row of seats and the lavatories are moved to the back where the galley is, and the galley is only like half the size. They say it's really cramped there.

I know AIRBUS has made some headway in its ducted Electric Fan in a small way but God I wish the primary engine manufactures would hurry up with development of the ultra efficient Ducted geared TURBPROP FAN engines, can't wait to see those on planes!
