Growing up in Garden City, I have fond memories of our Outlet store. I visited downtown often, but I don’t remember visiting that particular Outlet. Mostly, I remember visiting Shepard’s there. It’s sad that that Outlet caught fire. But I am frustrated that I couldn’t find the date that this film was produced. Some of the people interviewed remembered Joseph Samuels, the founder, so I’m guessing it was sometime in the 1970’s, but come on, how hard would it be to post the date this was filmed? Other than that, I enjoyed watching it and seeing that particular piece of history from my home state. And I was silently cheering when Dody beat those corporate executives at their own game! How DARE they?😊
