This aircheck featured Detroit’s longtime R&B station, WJLB FM 98. At the time, WJLB was winning the R&B battle against FM107 WGPR. The jock on air is Rob Johnson.

Yeah WJLB began 'slipping and dwindling' in the mid to late 1990s. Now it's just a lost cause. But we can't blame it all on the station. Sadly, _MUSIC_ has changed👎🏼 In general good music is a thing of the past... _gone for good._ 😢
