Yet releasing the body cam footage to the public was an ignorant thing to do because it puts the life of all the other officers at risk, who are trying to do their job honorably. This Governor has not managed the correctional facilities very well at all and the fault for all of this lies at her feet. They are understaffed and certain officers are required to work triple shifts which is not safe for the officer nor is it safe for the inmates. It's been in the news and easily researchable if you don't believe me. Officers are retiring as soon as they can because the system is corrupt, and decent officers are just worn out. Many are quitting and leaving the profession and barely anyone is signing up for the academy. I'm quite sure many will leave the academies after this. This works both ways folks.
