one of the things I appreciated most about wkuk’s comedy is that they rarely ever made it seem like they felt themselves above whatever it was they were making fun of they never hesitated to let the audience know “yeah we’re just as stupid as you guys and we’re not gonna pretend we know the answer either” humility is something severely lacking in comedy nowadays

I have a friend that’s exactly like this. I relate to what Trevor said, “no he’s not and no he’s not” because people like that aren’t really friends. They are the worst people to deal with. Especially when you deprive them of attention and you’re just sitting there ignoring them and they start being louder and more annoying. The desperation is pathetic and when you try to distance yourself they just keep acting out, practically screaming for attention. I have to tell people not to feed into his need for attention because it’s not something that’s easy to pick up on right away. They’re so exhausting and I feel like there’s so many people like that nowadays. It makes me not blame people for being antisocial and not wanting to associate with other people.

Zack was always my favorite character in the WKUK crew; he always did the most hilarious exaggerations and also successfully acted out the biggest range of characters really well. In retrospect, Trevor might have to be my favorite or tied therefor -not due to his untimely death, but simply because it seems like he probably came up with most of the sketches, like WKUK was his brainchild. Honestly, I think most of the audience here is really missing the point of the sketch. The inherent message of the video is that it's okay to laugh. Not at suicide specifically, but at tragedy. If we couldn't laugh at fucked up shit that happens we'd all go mad. But the real message at the end of the video is that it didn't matter that Zach was doing that shit for attention, he still killed himself and if you know someone like that, for fuck's sake, get them some help.
