If they can control the project and what is built-out on the site they acquire, they will get more continuous revenue from its operations. I believe that is the model for many of the recent new stadium projects. They wont get that kind of revenue if they share half the cost with taxpayers. The only help "we" will need to provide will be to make the road, rail network, utilities, etc around the site work correctly to support what is going on. @@Spense-G I don't think it's an issue. They wouldn't be discussing it if it was. The shorter, lesser used East/West runway has a path directly over the Ford Engine plant located on Brook Park Road. The Browns stadium would be close to a half-mile south of that, closer to Snow Road. The busier North/South runway is about 1.5 miles from where the stadium would be placed and planes would not fly over any part of the property on take off or landing. There is an old hotel at Hopkins next to Arrival/Departure area of terminal that may be as high, if not higher, as a closed stadium. I would be shocked if it can't be figured out. Too many positives to overlook. I think it would be a one-of-a-kind project with extremely easy access for those in the region and outside of Ohio flying in for events. Slam dunk to me.
