Its nice to see new videos on this boat,,videos are getting better I just got this boat 3 weeks ago got to 27 mph 3s on 38 plastic prop.. 24 mph 35 plastic prop. Then my ESC shorted burn out the motor, ordered 2445 3000kv in runner and I'm going to use shark 40 amp ESC,I don't know anything about the outrunners so far,, should go a lot faster with that already built the motor mount I was going to say about mods but I see you found the Asian guys and what they're doing shortening strut I don't understand why they replace the rudder it works fine. Sharpen the strut and sand all the gloss off underneath the boat the sponsons sharpen that strut and rudder just for those mods I had it going full speed 27 around corners flat an no turnovers and always drive to the right it counters torque roll and twisting of the prop that's why you're turning over going left, I cut the battery Mount out running 2200 SMC flight packs lighter and smaller than most 2200 that's the first thing I did way better run time butt with bigger battery self writing doesn't want to work so I filled that in with foam so it does sink down and when it did flip over it looked like it was going to go under.. I see you're using brass props I just ordered aluminum 1.4 38 and 35 I think the brass is too heavy I get everything off AliExpress that is way cheaper it's a neat boat for the money I couldn't afford the bigger f1's I just saw a W l hydro I think it's Wl913.. it looks fast that'll be one of my next ones keep up boating little boats are fun... full trigger full triggerrrrrrr PS . Look at the dtrc mini Dom cobra I got that before this boat it's a nice nice boat for the money and fast...

@@scottwhizz2733 Yeah, the WL915 is pure boating fun if one got the patience to handle it properly and modding it (I'm sure it can go 40+mph on 5S with a sharpened+balanced prop 🚤💨). It really needs the strut mod to be fully appreciated. Indeed feel more easier to handle and stable when going full trigger in ovals clock-wise, even with 5S 🔃 The mod can cause cavitation with smaller props. I could not get a sharp 32 mm alu CNC prop to work with it. My TFL 34 1.4 prop (copper btw) is non-sharpened / non-balanced, but I ordered a 36 1.4 CNC alu prop from AliEx a month ago...will hopefully arrive soon 🙏 Anything larger might blow out the original 30A ESC 😅 I have 2 new Shark 50A ESCs...one is for my Recoil 2 18"...the total length is somewhat large for the WL915 but it might work out 🤔 I've seen a few vids of the M450 Cobra. Looks like a fun mono hull, but I need to take out my Recoil 2 18" soon again for 50+mph runs, hopefully (heavily modded at this point lol 😅).
