This is so good. Great interpretation of the Michael Nesmith song. He always did it with a country twang, Linda Ronstadt (Stone Poneys) did it with a definite mid-60's feel, but this version has a great modern groove to it.

This is my favorite of all her songs I've heard - her sweet, confident stride goes so well with my memories of Linda belting it out. And just as good, too (I can't believe I said that), I've never liked a remake of another song, except Heart at the Kennedy Center, doing, "Stairway to Heaven", since 1960. There's something in the mix - the people all around, the casualness of her just letting her gift shine in the sunshine. Most singers don't enunciate - that's why we find out what the words really are decades later. Not this time, though - there's no lax, nothing sloppy - this is pure, tight, perfection. If this were a record, I'd have worn it out. Beautiful voice. Thank you, bless you.

She writes her own music, plays several instruments and puts out some great stuff. This is probably my favorite song of all time, she does a good cover here. She is a serious artist in her own right, believe me. Let me correct myself. She does a great cover. She doesn't have the instrumentation behind her that Linda had. Very nice vocals.
