WLToys 124018 Unbox and Run.

This WLToys 124018 is a pretty cool truck. I would definitely go for this version since the 144001 is already a race buggy version. It performs well and probably could use some more off roady tires. Once the shocks are tuned it should be a performer.

It's a great truck just make sure you let it cool down between runs if your full throttle bashing. I converted mine to brushless and they make brushless ones now as well. It's a fun platform to modify.

What scale size is the servo? I'm gonna swap out electronics and if I have to guess this come stock with 5 wire servo and when I swap out the esc I will need a 3 wire servo and I don't know the size. I ordered this rc from Amazon and I'm waiting for it to get delivered so I just can't look at it and tell untill it gets here but I wanna go ahead and order servo so I don't have to wait as long

yes it comes with a 5 wire servo but it can be replaced with 14 scale size servo if your upgrading electronics. Definitely not a 10th scale servo.

Thanks! The brushed version imo is good enough speed for proper bashing and general running around. The brushless can be overpowering its abilities sometimes and the brushless electronics you would probably want to replace anyways. I would get the brushed, run it and upgrade it to a better brushless system and transmitter/receiver.

The best way is to take it apart and clean everything while it's apart. Also you can re grease and lube all the parts that need it to prevent wear.

The width is just like the 12th scale buggy. They just added a cage and made it look like a desert buggy. All thr parts from the buggy fit, only difference is the rear shock length and how they mount on the truck.
