Great video brother! I think WLToys exaggerates less than most other brands. They seem to make some fast machines! I don’t think this is worth the price their asking for it. I think it’s a $110-$115 car. Seen it as high as $189 in some places. It is an awesome little buggy though.looks great. Wonder how this same set up would do in the a959? Would be curious to see. hey man, i met you earlier today at lime rock. thanks for letting me rip that thing for the couple min or so before the battery died, or rather your friend did. love the channel. would would you recommend this over other 1/18th - 1/12th "cheap" cars? as i mentioned i loved how well it handled, for what it is, so i would like something that handles at least as good and is as fast or damn close. 14 :27 its really funny you mentioned that because i was thinking through the whole video it would be surprisingly fun on their carpet track. also its crazy that site you linked to has it for 139 when its 189 on amazon

Hey man happy you reached out! I didn’t realize they had them listed on amazon yet. $189 is pretty steep! The rlaarlo/ AMORIL buggies as great value at $130ish on amazon but are a little slower than this 1/18 scale. If you’re ever in the springfield/ enfield area I have some of the 1/14 scale I could let go of for cheaper. They’re definitely worth it!

@@413RC you talking about buggies? maybe next weekend we could meet up at rc madness and you can bring some stuff you want to sell and i could bring some cash. in reality these cars arent all that expensive so new isnt going to kill me but saving money is nice. talking about that site you linked to, yesterday i went on there to check the price and now when i try to go on the site it says access denied, that i dont have permission to view the site, even after i deleted all cookies. anybody else have that issue?

I heard they are just a hodgepodge between the older 959b and the 144001, using likely leftover parts between the two haha. New aluminum chassis though. Good way for wltoys to get rid of old stock that was sitting around if so I suppose. Sweet video, keep up the good work.

i upgraded my wltoys124007 and put metal swing arms , metal wheel hubs , and metal bumper and i take it to the skatepark every 2 or 3 days and it holds very well to jumps crashes and flips i haven't bent any aluminum parts and i also did grease the diffs , for a cheap rc this thing has me impressed ive had more expensive rc like losi 22x-4 break parts in stock form but not for the wltoys. i guess they made their parts a little more flexible thus it doesn't break with the first crash , i like the color is the same as my 1/12 scale , and also you got it right this is a great basher rc a very good one.

Thank you!!! I’m not sure. I didn’t notice much of a delay other than the cogging. Since it isn’t a 2:1 ESC receiver combo you could always swap out the receiver for something higher quality

Being a couple of mph away from box speed is very good imo, even Tamiya, Kyosho and all the others claim speeds without people always reaching them out of the box. Advertised speed is always under ideal conditions, like temperature and road conditions et cetera, and as far as I can tell, WLToys are better at reaching their advertised speed than many other brands, especially american ones. Looking at you traxxASS, with your plastic axles on 400 dollar cars smh, ooh "75mph with optional gears", yeah optional gears, axles, RPM and GPM parts and a complete rebuild..

AMEN, Tomley has done multiple videos on Traxxas where the advertised top speeds are with gearing ratios that traxxas doesn't even make. Wltoys was pretty bad at this for a while but they have seemed to gotten better and realized people are sick of the BS lying claims

It is very fun and fast but a bit small. I think you’ll outgrow it quickly. Check out some of my other videos for 1/14 and 1/12 scale cars

@@yobtnirp3D that’s a great budget! Check Facebook marketplace for Arrma 3S BLX vehicles. You can sometimes get them used for $200-$250 with a battery and charger

Have you tried double tapping or even triple tapping reverse? Still nothing?

@@413RC I talked with the support and we could confirm that the ESC was programmed wrong and it just wont go reverse. They are sending me a new ESC and a bottle of oil 550. Good guys over at Hobbex!
