I bought this model to rob the electronics for a Spitfire model I was building. It only took a few minutes to discover that both the radio and the receiver were, in fact, 4 channel with one of the channels unused. There is a spare socket on the receiver for another servo. I was also informed at the time that the receiver was FlySky compatible but have not actually checked this out. I'm very surprised that of the many reviews I have seen, no reviewer has ever mentioned this. One reviewer even suggested that one of the joysticks ( normally aileron control) "didn't do anything". If he had bothered to have a look at the receiver , he would have seen that the right hand stick not only operated the throttle but also a third servo when plugged into the empty socket. It's amazing how many reviewers and testers actually have very little knowledge of the product they are reviewing.

Yes. Most 3Ch planes have 4Ch receiver. This one also has got 4Ch receiver like F959S, A180 and more.
