ayy I got that exact model, bloody fun ayy.. the sag is caused by a lack of altitude hold, you really have to ride the throttle, and the rotation under climb is cause it's spinning up the rotor as there is no pitch control.. great Christmas gift if anyone is curious, they really are fun and simple.. maybe get a set of safety glasses too, won't break skin but..

Meaning it isn't a lazy person's copter. Drones and heli make it too easy these days and people still acting like they have skill. I love to hand them my v911 and see how bad they actually fly.

Fun... I guess the transmitter is used for a number of products. I had a toy quad a few years ago that used a transmitter that looked like that. One button cycled through the sensitivity (rates). Another one turned the optional camera recording on or off. I can't remember if it was the same quad, but there was also a button that entered Flip mode. The thing kept beeping frantically until you moved a direction stick, at which point it flipped around the selected X or Y axis. Whoopee! I must have used that button at least twice!

Great video. I like both the V911 and the V911S and for me personally I tend to avoid buying these types of RC helicopters. Not because it's fun to fly, but the fact that they're extremely weak if you're not careful with it. I flew it the first couple of flights and on the 3rd flight, I accidentally crash landed it and the entire tail broke off. Plus, the V911S is sold at various different prices and the biggest screw up on my part is purchasing it for $83.

The 1st RC aircraft I ever brought was a electric heli. I 'flew' it only one time. You can probably figure out the rest lol

The Transmitter screen should let you know what the 1 and 2 beeps do. I'm sure it must be also indicated in the manual if one was supplied. According to an online manual for the V911 the top left button is the rates. 1 beep=low 2 beeps = high. The specs state 6-7 minutes flight time. BTW.. the range could be affected by low Transmitter batteries.

The first RC item I got was a heli, Blade I recall was the name.. a little blue fellow running on a DX6i though it was back in the 00s. but I can relate to this picking stuff up and then never checking or flying them before years down the line. still have an XK K110 3D6G with an X6 controller, that I haven't flown or tried and which I got in the hope it could help me to get comfortable with collective pitch so I didn't crash the WLtoys V383 quad with collective pitch as that unit is fragile as, - class500 so big and heavy... a big mark with some high grass leaves, would likely be ideal when going 3D same with the XK X350 sky dancer that also has an X6 controller bundled and a Holybro X1, sadly with a Futaba FaSST rx but otherwise beautiful quad., but it was years back when you could get them for very little when china wholesalers cleared stock and sold them for a fraction of the MSRP, but it doesn't matter if its cheap these RTF bundles if you never take the ability of it and actually fly it and enjoy them... but I live in the inner city, so limited with flying space and time.

A nice distraction from your regular scheduled content. (ie: no assembly required) Wondering if some sort of vibration may be impacting the inertial sensor. The helicopter thinks its climbing, so reduces throttle. The change in rotor RPM may change resonance of vibratoin so it recovers. Could try balancing rotor by adding a piece of tape to a blade. If you can bind to your regular transmitter, it may improve range.

It occured to me afterward that maybe the throttle axis also has a dead zone in the middle, that would explain how it felt. There's also the fact that a large prop disk behaves more like a wing than the smaller ones on a multirotor, and the wind might have been affecting it more than I was aware of.

The top left button is high/low rate and the right top is not used on this heli.

Can you wire In a flysky micro receiver , or is it an all in one board ?
@iforce2d3 жыл бұрын
It's very much in one board. I actually bought this to maybe use in a micro-sized plane build, with the two micro servos and auto-level. But it ended up on the "will probably never bother" pile.

I used to have an XK K100 (6-channel, 3D capable version of this, parts are mostly interchangeable) and the best upgrade you can get for it is a multiprotocol module for your hobby grade transmitter. It's much, much nicer to fly when you actually have precise control over it (which means you won't crash it nearly as much).

This is why you need a Radiomaster Transmitter multi protocol bind it and no dead zones on the sticks...Like night and day...I have the E119 works great flies for 15 mins...Time you dumped those Flysky radios..🤔😀🇬🇧

Try a Blade 150S Chris. Collective pitch and is very stable. I don't do any 3D stuff with it cuz I am inept but it is fun to tool around. I have a vid of it on my channel if you're interested. :)

Yep, why would anyone want to waste AU$86 (RTF) landed on this little toy for their kids when they can waste AU$390 (BNF) for the Blade 150S? Every Castle should have at least 2 of those for their little Princes - or Right Little Counts as the case may be! 😜😁

A total beginner starting with a $250 BNF high performance heli is a recipe for disaster. This V911s is $40. Totally different classes of performance for different people.
@zorilla03 жыл бұрын
If you don't care about flying upside down (something the V911s can't do), I would just stick with multirotors since they do everything better at this size. Otherwise, I would go with an XK K110 + a multiprotocol radio (avoid the RTF radio-it's clumsy to use and you'll just crash all the time). If you own any EMAX micro quads, the K110 will happily accept the same 450mAh 1S batteries if you swap out the Molex connector for a JST-PH 2.0, and the LiHV will give it a little extra kick.

I upgraded that transmiter with wifi antenna and it had much larger range. Now I have those multiprotocol transmiters so I use that.
