strangely enough I think this plane is pretty cool… It would be fun if myself and my friends all had one… It is super cute

Just got mine: *Cuteness Factor 9000!!!* 1500 views so far on my first Short with it! _Lightning Review:_ _Upsides:_ Tough! I modded mine right out of the box for FPV, I can attest their glue joints are strong, and the foam is super squishy. Comes with a 400mah lipo, It's easy to fit a 600mah, 800 if you do some cutting. The battery connector is Molex, be aware if your chargers are all PH2.0 or BT2.0 - get some adapters. The port for the SBus interface works flawlessly, I have a FrSky XM+ connected directly to the port, no config needed. Last, there are two big empty pads on the top of the FC, perfect for tinywhoop camera/vtx combos. Remember that everything is 1S, so your RX has to be 1S capable. _Downsides:_ The joints are not glued well, there is a 5mm gap on the left side, near elevator. The flight controller is askew inside the fuse. The paint easily flakes off, as the foam is squishy and handling it deforms it slightly, though it springs right back. Documentation is a 7/10, a good effort, but no info on RXs and channel mapping for flight modes. Additionally, a placard was included to show where to attach the aileron servo, but the image is so bad they needn't have bothered. There is an included Molex to PH adapter, but it's 1.0 pitch, so pretty useless. I built multiple Molex to PH2.0 adapters to use my chargers, but will likely just change the connector on the plane to PH2.0. Ummm, the canopy isn't optically clear - I know, I'm reaching. Oh, here's a big one, *XK, where is the CG on this plane?!!* Overall model review and flight characteristics: The plane materials are of high quality, the electronics a huge step forward with the inclusion of external receiver support. The build quality leaves much to be desired, though it's easy to fix any flaws with some glue and an XActo. The plane flies exactly how it looks, like a cartoon. It's not fast, not slow either. The control surfaces don't respond like planes with SAFE, but results are similar - self-leveling and a gyro stabilized flight modes work well, but of course it'll never fly like a Tundra lol. For what it is, you'll be delighted seeing something like this fly _at all,_ let alone capable of barrel rolls and awkward loops. I added a total of 5.9g with a camera and receiver, big whoop and it doesn't even notice.

Cute plane, but I hope this doesn't distract XK from producing more of their more scale micro planes. I have the Rare Bear and a couple of others on order and they are amazing little planes.
