What is the most important thing and first priority for the speakers? Design? Crossover? Cable? Anyone knows? Nope nope.

Can you use any speaker elements with horn-speakers, or do you need to use some horn-speaker specific?

I mainly use a vintage speaker unit which is produced in the 1940~1960s. All the units have alnico magnet. I think they reproduce pure and natural sound. Moreover, they need low power amplifier.

Hello from France, nice job, I have 2 old Audax wide range speakers in my workshop, Il will try to mount them in enclosures like yours. May I ask you two questions, please ? Why using plywood instead of HDF panels ? Plywood "sounds", not HDF. What is the name of the cello solo and its composer in the beginning of your video ? Thank you for your answer.

I like to use birch-plywood. The first reason is that the reproducing sound of birch-playwood is better than other materials. The second reason is that I can paint diverse colors on my enclosures. The name of cello solo is "Travels in the night". I live in South Korea. Audax units with alnico magnet are popular in my country.

@@weklangspeaker2054 Hello, thank you for your answer and for the name of the cello solo. OK, if you prefer birch plywood, I use 28mm thick HDF panels for my own works. If you can always find Audax units in South Korea, you are very lucky because it's pretty hard here, even if Audax is an old french mark.

이 스탠드는 618C 인클로저의 전용스탠드로 만든 것입니다. WM-02 모델의 전용스탠드는 만드질 않아 임시방편으로 올려놓고 촬영한 것입니다.

지지대 상하좌우 4개는 모양과 소리가 좋게끔 임의대로 똑 같이 만들어서 상하판에 부착하면 됩니다

왜 스피커 통에는 피스를 사용하지 않는 건가요? 특별한 이유가 있나요? 쫄대를 대지 않아도 훨씬 튼튼하게 고정할수 있을거 같은데요.

보기좋은 피스를 사용하기 원하신다면 사용하셔도 됩니다. 제 경우에는, 피스에는 스테인이 묻지 않아 색상을 맞추기가 불편하고, 또한 피스머리를 감추기 위해서는 훨씬 더 많은 작업량이 투입되어야 할뿐만 아니라, 나아가 더 단단하고 밀폐된 제작과 직각을 잡는데 쫄대 및 접착제 사용이 피스보다는 더 이롭기 때문에 저는 쫄대사용을 선호합니다.

Yes, it is based on Altec 816A. The 816A is for a 15" unit. It is for an 8" unit.

혼의 크기와 각도는 다양한 경험에서 설계했습니다. 이 혼은 정삼각형의 두 꼭지점의 끝을 원으로 만든 것을 혼의 곡선으로 사용했습니다. 언제라도 청음가능하지만 제가 있는 곳은 대구입니다.

The thickness of plywood is 12mm. You can draw a goodlooking radius as you think.
