WM/Deffenbaugh Mack Granite Leach Rear Loader Garbage Truck

As I am sure most of you know by now, WM has unfortunately lost the contract for Omaha. I find this very sad as I prefer manual collection and WM has such a cool fleet out there.
This is one of the fairly common combos that deffenbaugh has. Seen knocking out heavy alley trash and YW in north Omaha.

I'll be honest I never had any plans to go that far and film since living marginally close to the midwest now, but I'm glad you went before the FCC takeover and got some video. particularly enjoyed watching that recycle guy in the other video with the LE. still kind of amazing the trucks they used as recently as they did, and that they were WM for quite some time while being used too. idk when exactly deffenbaugh sold but it had to be 15 yrs ago or something

Omaha's mayor pushed so hard for the FCC contract. Most of the council members wanted Waste Management to keep on collecting. FCC is using lame Zr's to collect the city's garbage. Too bad Waste Management didn't win the contract. Also most residents don't want FCC because they don't do yearly yard waste.
