WM Mack LEU McNeilus Rear Loader Collecting Post-Christmas Trash

With the contract for Berwyn soon to be switching to SBC, I knew I had to come down and grab some video of the trucks Waste runs there. Even though these are some pretty tight alleys with an absurd amount of overhead wires, they choose to send almost all front loaders with carry cans through here. However this driver has always preferred to take this rear loader, which is in fact the last residential rear loader that runs out of the Cicero, IL shop. I had totally forgotten about the rear loader that usually gets sent to Berwyn, and I also didn't think they would still be sending one there with all the extra front loaders they have, so you can imagine how surprised I was when I looked down the alley and saw this truck. All the other WM drivers who used to have one of these LEU McNeilus RLs were never a big fan of the camera, and the last time I saw this driver he had one of the ACX McNeilus RL’s (that has since been sent away), which is why I have not previously been able to get a video of this truck. This was also the day after Christmas, and so this route was a lot more dense than usual which was really fun to watch. A big shoutout goes to this driver for always being so cool and welcoming me filming for a while, I do have two more videos of this truck to be posted at a later date as well!

Sweet vid. These one man alley routes have really grown on me. Seems like these guys always move at a good pace whereas a lot of the two man crews seem to drag their feet.
