I am a HUGE DC metro fanatic. In fact, as one of my extra credit assignments my junior year of college, I decided to draw the ENTIRE DC metro map on a poster and show my class how to navigate through the system. I ended up getting an “A” in the class and my professor wanted to keep the poster.

Awesome videos. Only thing that would make them better would be maybe time stamps with the stations/stops to those out of DC to know where the train just arrived. Otherwise I really enjoyed them. And I hope you would be able to do another Silver Line video once the extension would open.

When I rode the orange line to lenfant plaza it said "Transfer is available to the green and yellow line on the upper level" and not "Transfer is available to the yellow and green line on the upper level" Does it change what it says depending on the Line you are riding?
@MarkTheLostTraveler3 жыл бұрын
It really shouldn't matter. It might just be the announcement is different on which series train your on. Could be the older trains haven't changed there announcement from the newer trains. Hope that kind of answered you question. Thank you for watching.

@@MarkTheLostTravelerou have every right to photograph through the cab as Metro is tax payer funded and our first amendment rights apply there. The trains aren't private. They belong to all of us. Our tax money goes to pay for all of the transit. I’m planning on doing the entire Metro transit in DC in the spring at the very front like in this video and will make sure I stand up for my rights if asked not to film. Public transit is for everybody to ride on. Some of these operators just don’t know our rights when it comes to filming on public transit.

I will never ride DC metrorail again. The attendants are clueless and rude and the trains are disgusting. Crackheads even do and deal illegal drugs in the trains and on the platforms.
