@@LSUowns21But you can appreciate and talk about how great he is. Once youre interested in baseball, you naturally become curious about that sport so you start learning. Then you can start comparing him or measure him to other greats. It’s a natural process and it’s not forced by that sport. But WNBA seems to think they have the right to demand this from their supposed customers rather than letting it happen voluntarily or naturally and thats where people have issues.

What an absolute joke seriously, I had never watched a women’s basketball game in my entire lifetime or had any interest in women’s basketball. Ever. The league was an absolute disaster, ratings were low, poorly, attended, and poorly watched, and my understanding it was not self sustaining. Never occurred to me to watch it, the little clip here and there that I saw I did not want to watch it . Caitlyn comes along and now I’m watching her and I began to discover a few other players in the league as a result . The woman has an IT factor that is galvanizing peoples attention, she’s an absolute class act, listen to her talk after every game and she is a class act act, she shows dignity and respect to everyone. The crowd following Kaitlyn , the media, why on earth would you not just ride the wave seriously knock it off There’s no rivalry that people keep trying to put out there because she’s not interested in it. She just likes to play basketball and she likes to find a way to win. She’s not woke, she’s not there for the advocacy of the WNBA. She’s not there for all of the woke agenda and all the different reasons why nobody’s ever watched the WNBA I think what’s going on is there’s a major disruption occurring to the order of the kinds of players in the WNBA that are suddenly making people interested in watching, and the old guard really really really really really really really doesn’t like it

I don't see a cohesive league that wants to grow. If that were true, they would be welcoming Caitlin Clark with open arms, instead of attacking her on the floor every game, cheap shots, a coach that benches an entire first string just to get at her. I honestly don't' think the WNBA wants to grow, they're content with the NBA paying the bills, not the players, but the owners, they don't want higher salaries, they are out in public, and they don't like it.

We understand that most of the players in the W are not very good, we can see it with our own eyes. So I really am here to see what I like, who catches my eye, not who they try to force down my throat and convince me that she or this or that team is good. Lets be real folks, most are not. CC is the best of the best a fresh start, anyone else not on board, can and will be replaced.

Nobody is missing the past. Everything CC does gets compared to all the past players that the W consider the greats. The reason people are hating on CC is because in only 12-14 games she is already matching are passing their achievements. Just give CC , the other rooks all the respect they’ve already earned and except the new players are a better class of rookies than the W is use too. And these rooks will surpass the stats that are in front of them because of that. Also they are playing more games in a season that will give them better stats for a season. The problem isn’t the league it’s just the few people in the league crying. Don’t talk down about our rooks and we won’t talk down about your experienced players. The rooks come with a new fan base that the W isn’t use to having and allot of these new fans are hardcore for their rookie so I guess what I’m saying is , they bite back. If you don’t want it don’t give it. Great video hope you guys have a great day.

I get the feeling a lot of these players are wanting fairness and life isn’t fair. Things aren’t fair because they’ve been there before they feel it’s not fair but it’s not about fairness. That’s just not how the world operates. Unfortunately life just isn’t fair and the sooner people accept that the better they are able to deal with situations. CC does not diminish the contributions of other people, but she has literally brought the world to the WNBA Why are the players fighting this so hard? ? I think there’s much other reasons other than the ones being presented that nobody really wants to talk about.

I agree… some girls still live in countries where they are not allowed to play, some are born handicapped, some never had a chance because a parent wouldn’t take them to after school practice… we could go on and on… life is not fair. We should all be thankful for the opportunities we are given and try to make the world a better place for those without. If you are a veteran or a rookie embrace each other with a gratitude.

I like watching Kia Nurse play ball. But I think it's pretty arrogant to think that you know ANYTHING about coming into the WNBA, in the same fashion as Clark. Nurse wasn't a millionaire when she arrived in the league. She didn't have multiple endorsement deals. She didn't break 65 plus NCAA regular season and tournament records. She wasn't personally responseble for sell out season & regular season tickets, IN COLLEGE. She didn't break attendance and viewership records her first few weeks in the league. She wasn't targeted on defense, in a way no rookie before her has EVER been. Love you Kia, but your experience is worlds apart from Clark's.

The "benefits" that the WNBA is reaping is the money that was pumped into that sports endeavor that has always been a humongous financial failure since it's inception. Without the NBA the WNBA would have long gone the way of Roller Derby! And truth be told I enjoyed Roller Derby more than the WNBA! Now that CC is here, hope springs eternal I guess.

Kia is like the Caitlin Clark of Canada. Coming from a family that's like athletic royalty here, Canadians have followed her since before her UCONN days. Her brother Darnell plays for the NHL's Edmonton Oilers who are currently in the Stanley Cup finals and her cousin Sarah is a top player on the Canadian Women's national hockey team, in the last Olympics she set a new record for points (18) and assists (13) in one tournament.

Even with that before this interview many viewers never heard of her. On the other hand, lets go look for someone who hasn't heard of Caitlin Clark. I appreciate her attitude toward Caitlin as opposed to some of the other players but none of them are qualified to offer her advice since none of them have been through it. Caitlin isn't new to fame and she has a degree in marketing which is why her branding for her whole career has been just as good as her game. Caitlin should be giving the WNBA advice at this point.

You lost me at "successful" - what a effing joke......the W has been going for almost 30 years and on average LOSES 10 Million + per year....THAT is NOT success - that in any other business metric would have been shutdown or sold off....CC is THE ONLY reason the W is on people's lips at present...period. The numbers do not lie.....bigger teams struggling to get 8,000 bums on seats at games, CC & Fever have ave. 18,000+ per game...No comparison. From a movie ( Day & Knight ) where Tom Cruises character says to Diaz - "with me ( hand held high ) or without me ( hand held way low )" - which is the W and CC. With CC they have a potential to raise their TV rights x 4 ( current deal is 60 mill. to 240 mill. ) without Clark - the W slinks back into obscurity and who knows after 30yrs of losses may be the end for what essentially is a black lesbian league ( 60%+ Black & 38% LGBTIAlnmop )CC does not need the W, but the W most certainly needs her.
