Sheik main here, Sheik doesnt have a hard time killing, she has a ton of setups. She just seems weak because shes incredibly light and when shes behind she has to olay defensively, which makes it hard to go for the kill confirms.

It's the same reason Larry Lurr dropped fox in favor of Wolf/Falco while Light is still putting in work with fox. ZSS and Fox are still top tier characters, but they play differently from Sm4sh, so when you spent 3-4 years playing a single character in Sm4sh, and they suddenly play different, they don't feel like the same character.

Short Hop + Fast Fall. Tap the jump button very briefly to do a short hop (jump). Then press Tap down on the joystick at the apex of that hop (or anytime after) to fall faster (fast fall). In combination you can move very quickly. Spacing yourself both offenseively and defensively.

In regards to her damage output, it isn't below average either, she doesn't need her brawl damage back where her fair can fucking drag you across the stage with it and do 50% for something so simple to do. NOW she can do combos that do just as much damage but require skill to do it's the same way with Peach those combos you see Samsora do for 60% aren't easy and nor should they be. I could run down all her many kill options aswell, but I'd rather people actually pick her up and join the Sheikcord if they want that info.

Not enough to be gamebreakingly broken or too little to make no change. 2% is huge but not broken. Just gives proper reward to a character that already struggles to be the cannon of glass canon. More of a glass butter knife is how she feels.

Why is everybody so concerned with the amount of hits it takes to do 40%? She can do 40% off of 1 neutral win, whether or not she has to do a 10 hit true combo or a 3 hit true combo to do that isn't as important, as long as you are good at doing your combos. It doesn't make the character that much worse in theory, just makes her higher execution. I mean, how many other "mid tiers" can do 10 hit true combos in the first place? I think a slight damage buff/higher kbg on up air would be nice, but neither are nearly as important as people think they are.

I may not main her but I do play her and I have to say getting someone to 200+ percent is the worst with her. She basically doesn't have any potential with rage and her kill options are either gimmicks or really specific. Smashes are unreliable and punishable, too. Bouncing fish is her one good tool for killing so people are always playing around it. I don't even mind her damage output SO much, since her chaining/combo potential is great and her speed and chasing game is pretty damn good.

Void is a top player who can take advantage of things like F-Tilt -> Dragdown Up Air. If you can't do that, Fairplanes, hit-confirm off of stray hits in an instant, etc., you gotta make do with a Fair that deals 4.5% or a Bair that doesn't kill until 160%. Void may be fine with what she has, but that doesn't mean she's that good to everyone.

Buff sheik, make all of her moves, defenitely her Aereals and Tilts, Jabs and Dash Attack, but throws, smash attacks and specials are nice as well, do more damage. Like 3 or 4 procent more. Besides, make his backair and upair a reliable kill option, en maybe his back throw too. And lastly, make it so forward throw into bouncing fish actually works on reliable procents and make that actually work.
