That last kill was so sick. He recognized the DI out from raffi, jumped up on the left side of his hit box, did the first 3 of 4 hits of up air and then at the literal last hit drifted onto the right side, which makes the up air send left, which combined with raffis di out (right) sent him straight up. Seriously if he didn’t drift to the right for that last hit it wouldn’t have killed. Insane how he thought about all of that in a split second

I shouldn't have doubted VoiD for a second. A lot of the time, half his struggles feel because he's playing a really hard character to do well with. It's a lot like Fatality, in that regard. Game 4 really shows that top level awareness by his part.

I appreciate fatality's efforts less because captain falcon is sick only because of the memey reputation of getting kneed or stomped, but shiek is sick because she's so flexible and nimble and really fun. I feel fatality wants the status of falcon but that void is really trying to prove that being dope at the game can win. Kind of like a less brash mang0 in melee

@@gabrielhennebury3100 Nah he actually played like a CPU this match. Ult's mechanics (spotdodge cancelling/low aerial ending lag/etc.) just let that stuff slide unfortunately. You can have poor fundamentals and still rank high in this game bc of abusing mechanics. And before anyone's like "dur hurr just get good so you don't get cheesed," check out how much VoiD struggled this match against those strats.
