The thing that immediately stands out is the camera movement and the particle effects. Their choice of dark roots instead of amrita is more pleasing to the eyes. Caster animations are also better it seems.

Wo Long looks like a significant downgrade which is a damn shame because Nioh1 and 2 looked beautiful. Wo Long is messy, the textures and lighting is just not there like it was in the Nioh games, and that’s a real shame. I know graphics don’t bean everything, but for a game releasing in 2023 to look worse than a game released in 2014/2020 is just down right embarrassing. The game feels threat though. I’ll definitely give it that. I just hope that this demo is a piece taken from an early build of the game, and that all these issues are cleared up when the main game releases in 2023

Not to mention the fact that Nioh 2 complete edition (game + 3 DLC) Is 50€ on steam, While Wo long Is 70€ (Just base game of course)

Wolong is def an improvement over NIOH 2, its just not an insane jump in fidelity

Don't be disrespectful by saying this is like Nioh. Well, it is very far from it and nothing to see, not even in the rope to hold the katana. This game is hack slash, no loot, no RPG, no progression stats. So be well informed, do not expect to find anything from Nioh there, with your hyper through the clouds and then you will crash. When they announce a Nioh 3 well then we'll talk. But not with the spamer Wo long.

It is better than Nion, the fighting mechannics and parry system are feel great during boss battles and even mini bosses or enemies as well.
