@@luca7123 Honestly it feels like it. I've gotten five 5 stars in 2 hours. I tried putting morale down to 15 and was still getting a ton of 3's lol My luck is 120 but I rarely 2 shot him with 57 water virtue so I have no idea where I could fit in more luck. The two shotting seems a bit buggy or just controlled by mechanics I can't quite grasp.

Well, with the dlc drop this is still a good farming spot, but ominous chill is no longer very effective against this enemy. Killing enemy on soaring dragon difficultly nets about 170k qi and there is a chance of level 6 gear drops.

I’ve been max level for a minute now and I just beat Lu bu for the first time in new game plus and I’ve been looking for an easier farm for 5star items than the one I saw which is a bit further into the game. Only reason I’m still playing is cause the combat is satisfying and I want 5star gear but it was begging to feel hopelessly pointless.

Pretty sure the drop rate got hit HARD with the patch yesterday. I'm not the only one noticing it but this method DOES NOT drop as much 4 and 5* pieces as it used to. And yes, have been farming with a water build with AA equipment drop rate.

I just did my first run this morning and for my first drop I got a 5 star general of man helmet and 5 star forged sabres. It’s just RNG. The more you do it, the more you’ll get 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@ColdBwoyy I'm aware but I did like 20-30 runs yesterday in my farming route and got drastically less 4 & 5 star gear than I did at this time last week. They still drop but across the board drop rates for 4 and 5* definitely were hit. Prior to the patch, 5* would drop with AA equipment drop rate and high luck every 2-3 runs. Now, not so.

I'm glad you said this... I have noticed a significant difference in the drop quality since the update. I have even tried putting on gear with drop rates and luck, and it barely drops any 5 stars now. I see a ton of 2 and 3 star, and 4 star comes at the frequency that 5 star used to come at. I just did 10 runs on this boss and got zero 5 star pieces of equipment.

Great video but there's sooo many videos about this method lol another video u can make which I didn't know until just recently is that u can drop 9 or 10 jewels to the panda on new game plus and get infinite 5 star accessories easiest mission to do this is on The Flying Swallow of Heishan in part 2 just run straight to the panda drop 9 or 10 jewels get 5 star accessory rinse and repeat 👍

Use the inner discipline function to reduce your Fortitude to 15, it will increase the odds of getting tier 5 loot, Last run got me 4 tier 5 loot just by killing him once. I average about 1-2 tier 5 loot every 3 tries

Whenever I'm farming non boss characters. I use paper cranes to instant reset after every battle. Especially in the husui River croc.

By the way, when it comes to salvaging gear like you talk about at the end of the video, is it cool to salvage all gear that doesn't have a Grace? You showed an example of Stalwart Tiger Servant Armor and it didn't have a bonus that started with "Grace", but all I see people talking about on the subreddit are Graces. Is any bonus good? @@Fatih12fifa After you beat the game on first playthough (ng) you can switch difficulty to ng+ on the travelmap. Check bottom of map for command to change it. On Playstation 4/5 it's trianglebutton. That way you can change back and forth between difficulties. You need to learn this because this is how you get to next difficulty when the first DLC drops in a few months. (ng++) 😉👍

All the vids I've seen seem to have so much better personal luck than I have farming this boss. Been trying to put together a white emperor Grace set for days and days. I only get one or two 5star pieces every 10 minutes or so. Team ninja need to buff drop rates.

You have to keep in mind that having graces at all in the first game rather than in the DLCs is better than what they did in Nioh. But yes I think it’s over stated on what you can get per 15 min run. It’s more like 3-5 at best
