some spoiler-free explanations: -Not the entire Bleach universe is under the influence of Ichibei's names (power), as we already saw, Yhwach is the son of the Soul King, so he has from birth the ability to share the soul without the need for a name given by Ichibei that gives him power. -so in situations where he loses power or his body is hurt, he can extend himself as a soul to penetrate other souls in the environment to dominate them and their power becomes part of his power. -Examples of when he also did that was when he opened his throat to extend his blood and mix it with the environment (which is made up of souls formed by reishi such as clouds, wind or the king's own palace) and thus he can heal and restore his power and even gain more -In short, as he himself said, Ichibei cannot take anything away from him because he himself will give it to him again. 🔴900,99,9 The 9 years did not exactly happen at that time, in fact they happened when Ichigo's mother died, he simply had not opened his eyes for several reasons, 1 he was saving it for Ichibei (who is the greatest opponent to face), 2 because it would have gotten out of control (I can't say it, it's a spoiler). 🔵 It's not plot armor There are people who say that it came out of nowhere but we had already seen it in chapter 24 in a flashback from 1k years ago, in that same flashback Ichibei tells Yhwach "your eyes will not open until the day of your death" which is a harbinger of what was to come.

It makes more sense if you take it literally. It also leans into what senjumaru was saying with ishida and "blue blood" ie. Noble royal blood since yhwach is son of the soul king quincies all have soul king blood technically

Uryu's incomplete vollstanding getting activated at the same time when almighty was activated is something you should keep note for. This shows there is a connection between them The episode is title "A" both uryu and yhwach has same schrift letter they both used it in this episode hence the title. Uryu vs senjimaru was a completely new fight and it started a lot of discussuions on what uryu true powers might be.

I think most of Uryu and Ichibe fight were supposed to be in cour2 but since cour 2 had a few production issues, they were moved here + the recap. Even the Uryu's line before he finished off Senjumaru was in cour 2 trailer. I'm glad they took their time and reorganisation with this cour tho, they even said that this time there's no production issues, so I'm really hype for what's coming.

You cannot imagine how much time I've waited for this exact scene. Lemme give you a quick summary: Bleach was the one thing I was passionate about and am is till this day. It helped me go through some things many would consider horrible. For some time Bleach was geniuenily the only thing I looked forward to. Now the things are different, but I am waiting for this to SHINE! The fight, and the Almighty reveal, and more: THE FU****ING FUTEN TAISATSU RYO is like a dream come true. There are so much more things to be hyped about. Keep watching, I'll be here with you for the whole journey.

As i read the scan when they dropped, i know what happens, kinda, but i'll go aaaah yes that's what happens ! 😂 I remember so few 😅 That part with division 0 was so frustrating in the manga, kinda too here, but in the manga it was really like 1 page fight

The recap is a bit too long for people who are gonna watch straight from cour 2 into cour 3, but they basically ended the last season on what felt like the middle of an episode. There’s dialogue here that is in response to lines from a year ago, so I can see why they’d want to refresh people’s memory.

They had some production issues last year that prevented them from covering much of this material in episode 26 (hence the Kon retrospective at he end to fill up time). I'm guessing that if they had covered this part of the story last year it wouldn't have looked quite this good.

I liked it! I've seen the episode already, and read the manga. I'm here for Kina's perspective on Bleach, her enthusiasm, her interest in solving the mysteries of the plot and the characters. It's a nostalgic reminder of when I watched the original anime with my own kids years ago. And to the extent that Kubo is using this opportunity to add information he might have wished to include in the manga, I can identify with her excitement as new pieces of the puzzle are revealed.
