It’s because the morons will pay the $70 for the game plus buy all the $30+ game packs. There’s a reason why Craptivision changed the COD Points awarded in the Battle Pass from 1400 to 1100. It also seem that your COD points don’t even carry over. In MWIII, I have at least 1400 (ALL earned via the Battle Passes, all purchased with COD points earned in the Battle Passes), but in BO6, I have nothing. Will probably be Season 4 or 5, maybe, before I have enough COD points to buy the Battle Pass.

BlameTruth I hope you see this. I am a competitive player who plays Ranked, and man, these maps are so terrible. I never wanted Call of Duty to die more than ever. I used to care about being so good, like hitting iridescent and improving at the game, but it's so hard to know who is legit and who is cheating. This is so frustrating because BO4 was the last cod before MW19 released that really felt like a good experience. In my personal experience BO3 was the last innovative Call of Duty.

In defense of the finals, its skill based matchmaking is, to me, very fair. Especially as a casual player. Youll get a good amount of balanced matches, one where you stomp, one where you get stomped, and then it balances out again. And losing doesnt feel horrible either. It breaks the loop of monotonous cod fps games for me where you run into a lane and die, because you can change the terrain to your advantage. Its just... A better cod.

To AAA FPS franchisees: Step 1: stop pushing realism in titles. Let the PC master race pleebs play in 8k if they want to and make a game that runs at full fidelity on mid tier machines at 1440p, because computers have come far enough to do that. Not everyone wants to afford a 4090 even of they can. Step 2: Pay attention to what made the title in the first place and make a new version of exactly that. We don’t want a whole new game, we want the same game with new shit to experience. I think the big issue keeping COD alive, is that Warzone is free, but it pedals all the pay to win content in behind the core call of duty yearly pay wall DLC releases, so everyone just gets the game to unlock all the pay to win DLC for warzone

Tbh I have always been a fps gamer between old school halo, battlefield, cod, counter strike, etc. I’m just kinda over it at this point I’m convinced that only indie and AA devs can make a good game at this point. I’m literally about to try out path of exile 2 when that comes out cause I just need a complete change. I just realized that Das Haus is better than Nuketown, and now it is trapped there in Modern Warfare 3. Also, we had quick fix and dead silence in all loadouts in Modern Warfe 3 if we wanted, truly mindblown decisions. Go play prop hunt with skill based mm.

Not even one mode in this game is interesting enough to make me want to play. The Beta was genuinely better because of the hope that there was more on offer. Turns out that wasn't the case. At least the new mw2 had dmz and mw3 had zombie mode I enjoyed. Now I filter out all game modes besides the team death match and nuke town n try to grind camos until I get bored. Haven't even finished the campaign.
