These are great! I have also used the springs that come with an ink pen and when the ink is dried out I keep the spring and I can cut it into two or even three pieces with my needle nosed pliers and use that as a wobble. Good teenie weenie wobble items. Thanks, as always,for sharing your creative ideas!

Hi Connie, I love your tips. I made a wobble recently with a little thinner wire (28 gauge, I think) and it had a little more movement. So, if that is what you are looking for, try different gauges for slightly different effects.

Love te wire wobbly! For wire ends you can file it so you don't hurt yourself on the ends. Will have to try this!

I just took a small circle punch and cut 2 circles to add to my spring. Eliminates cutting with scissors after the wire is attached.

Neat ideas. I’ve been making the paper wobblers since elementary school (MANY years ago) and just used a taller one to pop up a heart on the inside of my grandson’s V-Day card. Must try the spring version…. If a card doesn’t “pop” or move, they get disappointed. Keep the ideas coming!

Morning Connie. Love your videos. I have dies of a gnome who's legs dangle. I can't find small paper Brad's to use on legs. Have to try the wire and see if that works. I kick myself, last year our Michael's store had All kinds and colors of brads. Didn't get any cause had no use at time. From now on, I see and think I might use it, I'm GETTING it..lol I so have several colors and sizes of wire I have from doing jewelry. Got that!! thanks for Sharing this.. always enjoy.

We made these in elem school. We called them "cat walks". Can't remember what we did with them, but I like the wire version better. Thanks for jogging my memory! Edit: Now I remember....at Halloween, we MADE 4 REALLY LONG cat walks and used them for arms and legs on cats. Hence the name, I guess. We made them by the hour. The original way to use scraps.
