Looks like the XL version is different than the 2.9 gallon version. The smaller version is terrible!! So just a warning. I say it's terrible because it's extremely difficult to fill with water because: 1. the opening is very small, 2. the strap is in the way and can't be moved and 3. once it's full it is super frustrating to try to close the top...you have to press down on it (unlike the XL where you screw it on) and pressing down pushes the whole unit down and then you lose water. With just a slightly new design it would be a million times better. For me I just take a gallon of water, boil half of it ( or heat it pretty hot), add it back to the gallon mixing it with the regular water and use that. It is enough for me to get wet, soap up and rinse off.

Agree completely.The XL is much easier to use. We had the 2.9 gallon/11 liter version before this one, and much prefer the LX.

Good video! based on your vids, we'll pick one up this month for our Summer archery meets. 2 things I'd recommend, having used sun showers for over a decade-on this one, place it on a black ground sheet, and lay it down lengthwise, unless they don't recommend it. it'll absorb more radiation horizontally than vertically.

Thanks, Alex! Great recommendations. Laying it down so more surface area is catching the sun won't hurt shower. When it comes time to use it, standing it upright will work best because of the location of the shower hose connection - it's at the bottom.

Thank you for the video. We have been looking into one of these but with the solar power pump. We appreciate all of your videos. We have been using a three gallon lawn and garden sprayer fitted with a shower head.

Thanks for another great video. I will include this setup in my camping gear based on your review. I would like your opinion on the AC setup installed by Escapade. Has it held up good since you purchased your trailer setup

You're welcome, Larry and thank you for watching. Yes, the air conditioner setup works great on our Escapade. The unit rides perfectly in its cabinet and works well with the front wall hatch open. It cools the inside space nicely.

I spoke with Escapade yesterday. I am 90 plus percent sure I will purchase my trailer from there. They seem to be good to deal with, always helpful. I mentioned you and your husband. They sold a trailer to a family in Tampa, Florida about 24 miles from me. I am anxious to take my wife to see this trailer. Have you ever made a video on your battery, solar, electrical setup????

Thank you so much for your review. I watched the one you posted two years ago, and this one. I just purchased the Helio LX to use out of my car to wash off the sand and to rinse my boys and their beach equipment as well. There's often a long line at the showers and I feel bad holding up the line to get every speck of sand off of our equipment/toys/boys, etc. Now we do a quick initial rinse off to get majority of the sand off, then we get to the car and do a more thorough rinse. This is great because my boys, myself included, always have sand kicked back onto us again from trudging to the car. Thanks for your tips!

Could I hang the bag of I wanted to? Does it create pressure when hung?

Pressure is created in the bag using the built-in foot pump. So, while technically you can hang the bag, that is not how the product is designed to be used. No pressure is created by hanging the bag.
