Smittybilt Tent Annex Update - New Design

It seems Smittybilt listened to the feedback about the annex for their rooftop tent. In this video, we share with you the latest information about the updated versions of Smittybilt's annexes that are now available for both of their Overlander rooftop tents. We posted a review of the annex in December 2017. In late January 2018, Smittybilt updated their website with new information and photos of their two tents and the annex for each.

Smittybilt is a very good company I'm glad they made that Improvement

I can't count how many times I have tripped getting into the annex with the entrance under the ladder. I may have to buy the new one. It seems safer.

Yep. The door behind the ladder is definitely awkward. So glad they have moved the door.

Glad to see they sorted out the issue with the ladder. That made zero sense the way it was originally designed. Now it makes sense but it also makes you decide if you want (a larger more expensive XL) tent with a side door and the ladder inside the annex or the (smaller less expensive) tent with the ladder inside the annex covered by the door. Hmmmm... Guess I won’t be buying a Smittybilt.
