Beautiful filming and images. Historical reminder that the most popular held beliefs about earth, the moon and the universe have been wrong.

My mother in law who is Japanese uses her lunar calendar based almanach to do anything, from traveling to what she is going to cook, whom she is going to visit and when. This is not superstition, this is a complete way of life that most Japanese use today. My japanese spouse who is a very modern person and a veterinarian will also schedule surgery based on the almanach and the lunar calendar because some days are better than other and some time of the day are also better for safety, less stress on the animal and a better and quicker healing. I use the ancient Demeter system to do my gardening and it works perfectly.

If the moon were 3.5 times bigger it would be the same size as earth. So why when we see earth from the moon it looks like the moon seen from earth ,it should look 3.5 larger . What I mean is , when looking at earth from the moon earth is all you would see , if the moon were the size of earth we would not be able to see anything other then the moon because it would block our view being right in our face, wouldn’t it?? P.S the moon is not never was a part of earth whoever came up with that is insane
@sailorman8668

It all depends on the focal length of the lens being used in the camera, and what magnification (zoom) is used. There is nothing abnormal about the size of the earth in any of the moon pictures.

I think the original theory (underline theory) was that an independant body struck a glancing blow against the proto-earth...the resulting debris was a mixture of both planets...which coalesced into a sphere due to gravity

I lived in Kyoto for 6 years and everybody there uses the lunar calendar (same thing everywhere in the countryside in Japan) so don't say that we all use the Gregorian calendar. The Kalbeliya indians do not use it, the Native nations of the Americas don't use it, all tribes in Africa do not use it , Inuits do not use it, Aboriginals do not use it . So who the fuck is EVERYBODY !?

its like English.. it's used universally as a common calendar, so businesses, history, politics, agriculture, economics can agree on a date, day, and year. those who dont make it harder for themselves to transact with other entities.. like when the new world didnt follow the Gregorian Calendar and still started the year on April 1.. eventually they adopted the calendar, april 1 became april fool's day bec. they followed the old calendar.

If that is the case..and I'm not asking this sarcastically honestly.. I'm genuinely interested and curious..if that is the case how would you explain Jupiter..Mars..Saturn..the moon..all planets I look at on a nightly basis from a telescope..and I live on top of a mountain where it is very dark so I am blessed with a pretty spectacular view..and I can see the planets so clearly..and I see Jupiter's moons and someotimes one of Saturn's..I can see Saturn's rings so clearly and I can see the roundness of the Moon and every detailed crater and I can see the roundness of Jupiter and it's bands..I can sometimes see Mars with little detail..it looks like a ball of red fog mostly..so how would that be explained with the firm explanation? I will say when looking at stars it does look like they are "in water" so to speak..I figure that is just the fault of the tepescope distortion with the stars being so far away..but I can see all of this for myself so I struggle with the specific belief you are speaking about..so what does that belief say in reguards to the other planets? I won't say theory because that feels a little insulting but If you know I am very curious.

@Angel yea I have ask this on a few flat earth comments and no one has responded lol I think it's a fair question though..I am open to ideas but it makes no sense to me that every other planet in our solar system is round..but us lol that makes sense about the turbulence..these stars are very very far away and if it was the firmament above us then Jupiter would look distorted as well and it doesn't..I managed to see the red spot last night..it is pretty awesome..I am guessing the firmament theory is part of a Christian perspective..I believe in God but not the way many do I guess..the fact their are so many different versions of the Bible and religions it seems to me that man just cherry picked what they wanted and said okay we dont like this so we will take this out and say this instead and we will call ourselves Jahova or something lol I was raised Apostolic..kind of culty..converted to Babtist..but now I don't get too involved with organized religion..I respect others have their own beliefs though but I have too many questions and the firmament just doesn't add up a bit to me lol thanks so much for your reply!

Weak hands cant help they have to be strong first God will use people to help he has the whole world in his hands.God will help us over power this virus its got to go back to hell where it came from it sure didnt come from God he said no harm will come to us even if the virus took my mom and others she is breathing Gods breath now no more harm will come to her now all is well now be ready to go at anytime if it is his will his will be done his will made the universe I pray I can help this world of children teach a child good they will do good God keep us safe & happy.

If I am not mistaken the poles are not that far apart True north and South. Polaris the North Star. Pol Arian is where we all derived from. The World is a huge place and also very mysterious. I am just in search of Truth like many others there is a reason why there is a treaty that nations signed to keep average people out. Magnetism along with the electric universe that we reside on just baffles me. It is said that the Earth is hollow I dont know anymore from the up and down. I just know that the Creator wouldnt want his people to suffer would it? I totally understand your rent theory... Im not a quack and i do believe the moon is a satellite one is any way and the other is the reflection of earth. A few months back the moon was out 4 hours b4 dark then dark came and the moon rose full from southeast. I am seriously baffled at what had happened. The sun was yellow before now it is white??? There was a man in Russia nick name the Big Cheese he was making fake suns in the 60's they had lit up places of Moscow that where dark most of the time but in fear of the sun blowing up they quit the experiment but did they??? There is so much more as far as us evolving from Apes I do not believe in this one bit...
