31:00 '' The father tired of bringing food for his last kid wants him to learn how to be self-sufficient.'' A true father. Most fathers want their kids to mature while mothers keep their kids immature.

I always felt that fathers baby their daughters and mothers baby their sons. My mother definitely made sure my sister and I were independent and able to take care of ourselves.

Common genet. It’s basically a cross between a ringtailed lemur, a pine marten and a cat. Amazing animals

Hurrah! I don’t like the cutesy wutesy narration but I see there is a Spanish version. The photography is wonderful so I’ll watch that instead.

I think you’re right. The emphasis is on the first syllable. GEN- et.
@istvanglock74459 ай бұрын
@@oldcremona That's the British pronunciation. The Americans (as in this narrator) often pronounce words with the stress on different syllables.

@ritalawson702010 ай бұрын
It’s not surprising that a polecat is a skunk. No wonder he stinks 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@indyreno293310 ай бұрын
Technically speaking, ferrets and polecats are actually the same thing, there are three extant species of ferret/polecat: the Black-Footed Ferret (Neoputorius nigripes), the Occidental Ferret (Putorius putorius), and the Steppe Ferret (Putorius eversmannii).
@istvanglock74459 ай бұрын
In the US, skunks are sometimes called polecats. It's said early English colonists saw the similar patterns on skunks, smelled their musky odour, and mistakenly called them polecats. They also misidentified wapiti and called them elk (the European name for moose). That's the problem with common names - the same name can be used for different animals, or plants.
@dyak0-q8k15 күн бұрын
@@istvanglock7445 Yes, Robin being another example of this name transfer from Europe to America.
