As a Jamaican I have been enjoying his content from my Ghanaian friend. I find him extremely solid and honest. To hear him say as an African you aren’t able to explore the continent from one country to the next you need a visa 🤦🏾‍♀️. Young man you bring me to tears - remain true to yourself for the people.

As an American, Wode Maya was one of the first member of the African diaspora I started watching. Before him, I was no aware of the diaspora. He opened my eyes to the Beauty of Africa. Since then, I started watching other channels within the diaspora. It has been a few years now and my life has changed significantly because of it. Thanks, Wode Maya!!!

I am so thankful for the internet these days because growing up in the 80's all I saw on television, about Africa were bad things. I had an opportunity to visit the motherland for the first time this past January and will be returning for another visit January 2024. I am excited. You guys bring me so much joy on this platform. Keep up the good work :)

I’m a Westerner, married to an African for fifty years (this year)…..Love AFRICA!! I watch and follow a lot of African content, realizing that here in the West we’ve been lied to, deprived of many things, specially an education that’s factual…. I’m so very Thankful that the Lord connected me to an educated, humble, kind, disciplined, loving, Godly man who raised our family to be the best God created us to be…..Together, as retired Ministers, we still do Missionary Work in West Africa…. BOTH OF YOU are two of the African Content Creators I highly respect and follow. You’re both transparent, honest, humble and factual…..That’s what’s needed!! Thanks for leaving “drama” behind…..We have enough here in the Western world!! Thank you both for this very inspiring video…..Blessings Always!!

@lorebay2593
@lorebay2593 Жыл бұрын
@@Tataymuntuwhat these men don’t understand is it a complementary submission one to another as scripture say, men love your wives as Christ love the church. Yes, they are head of relationships and that relationship will go as you lead it. They think it means domination and control, but you earn a submissive wife the way you love her, they will always have a problem when they try to dictate, dominate, demand. I once heard a woman say, I love R….,, he is everything, I don’t know what I’d do without him. I was amazed by her statement for I have never met a man that I could ever feel that way about even my first love was a disappointment. As I watch them over the years before they moved away, I see his love for her, he cares, supports, provides, he respects her person, I never heard him speak condescending, but lovingly. I understand her statement now. A few years ago, I saw her again after about 10-12 years later I said do you still feel this way about your husband. She gleefully said yes I still do. That is the kind man whom makes it easy to submit too. When I began to watch Wode channel, I was blessed to see the Continent Africa. I grew to like him a lot and I prayed also for him to find a beautiful African young woman who’d be good for him. As I watched, I met Ms Trudy and said that is the girl, I hope he marries her, I saw she loved him. I wanted him to have good because he is a good person. My ancestors originated ANGOLA and Equatorial Guinea. The people look like us here in America, we love music, beats, color, food just as they do. I’d like to go to some of these countries one day.

We never experienced problems with Ghanaians up to this moment. Others settled in South Africa. These are good people. I don't remember having a Ghanaian accused person in my court! This is the truth. These people conduct themselves better here in South Africa. I don't know in other countries. Thank you good people.

I feel the same way as he does, it's time for all the African countries to come together as one, open the borders so movement can be free. I've been to Kenya and love that country, I've watched his contents from all the places he's been and showed on his page, more power to him.

I'm an avid follower of you both Lynn from Namibia! I share similar experiences with Wo De Maya from studying in China during the same time as him and what he says is wholly true. I've travelled to many African countries till date because of the connections I have made with other Africans during my studies in China. Thank you for this video, Karibu Sana in Namibia Lynn. I look forward to hosting you when you do decide to visit.

Wonderful interview Lynn! Yes Africa should be home to Africans. I’m west African and American ( on paper) and it saddens me that using an American passport makes travel within east Africa easier than my Ecowas. I feel wode’s pain. It’s extremely hard to travel within Africa for Africans. Our hope is change because if African can move around the continent, people will realize how beautiful we are. We’re grateful for these kind of platforms; keep up with the great work both!
