After 15 years of trying real estate, textiles, and import/export and not having much success, I landed in agriculture. I have a similar story of spending many years abroad. I am form the middle belt of Nigeria, Benue State. I can confirm that agriculture is the way to go. I was and structural engineer in North America and it was fine, but nothing like giving jobs to my people and watching us grow. Hey Wode Maya, I am a pan African living in the U.S. I consider myself a virtual Agropreneur because I do business in Africa virtually. I own a 70 hectares farm producing maize and groundnut. I also own a vegetable oil factory and a real estate business that we just acquired for a 132 housing units. I appreciate every diasporian that has returned to build Africa, however, I am contemplating returning too to contribute my quota to rebranding and building Africa. I have attempted to reach you, I spoke with Titi your secretary. I hope you reach out so we can talk. Cheers

Woow. Bless you all, brothers.👏 Trust, honesty, integrity. These words stood out for me in this video. Indeed, as a business person who burnt his fingers trying to expand, I've found that the number one challenge for a start up in these parts is finding honest, reliable people to work with. It's sad cos we Africans are always on the case of politicians, claiming they're our only problem when a lot of us are so dishonest ourselves. Bless up, Wode.

Amazing idea to develop a community of farms managed by a reliable person! For Africans living abroad this can be one of the solutions since it is difficult to find people you can trust .BRAVO!

Farmers in the US get large subsidies from the government The government of Africa must support the farmers from the small village farmers to the large industrial farmers 🙏❤️💪

The US is hundreds of years into this, at our rate, we need the people who can make subsidies possible someday. Right now if we wait, the story would sound like this; we can’t develop farming because our leaders in another 20 years. Thank god we have a new kind of leaders on the fields now.

I would caution having governments subsidize anything. You would be better off with out subsidies because of the inflation that it creates.
