WoF 2/5/10: Mystery Round Full of Mistakes

-I don't care that Pat randomly decided to mention the Wild Card, there's absolutely no reason to use it!! It's $2500+ or the 4th consonant in the BR, it has very little worth on even $900. That was just...extremely odd.
-You do have to feel bad for Katie just completely freezing up. I'm not sure what happened, no word in particular was hard, but the fact that she stuttered before even PAPERBOY suggests she really let her nerves take over with $13550 on the line.
-ON A PRIZE PUZZLE, WHY ARE YOU SPINNING WHEN YOU KNOW THE PUZZLE? The scores at this time were a very low 1850/2950/2000 - so whoever gets that trip automatically is in the lead by quite a bit late in the game. Without that guaranteed trip/prize (it was all trips this week...what happened to sometimes no trips?) you might as well try to accumulate more than 1k with the remaining consonants if you're the blue player, but red needs to make sure that yellow doesn't have a chance to still get all those winnings. That is just incredibly dumb to get greedy though on the prize puzzle.
Combined with that MILD-GOOSE thing yesterday, and two hard BRs in a row (WINE BAR, RHYMING WORDS today - wow, that one really sucked), it's been a headache to watch recently. I think Sweethearts Week is going to provide a nice relief, really looking forward to putting these behind us...
