The reason why this was labeled as sexist game is when the development team was asked if they needed to add more female characters to attract more male players (basically asking if they should add thirst traps), Science Game responded, "We should not exploit women, we don't need thirst trap, we do not want to use female as a gimmick to attract male players." Sun Wukong isn't exactly the representation of humanity, Sun Wukong specifically is the representation of the unbound human mind, as the other characters in the original journey to the west were allegories for the other aspects, except the dragon horse(I still don't fucking know what that horse is about, he did nothing except like 3 separate chapters and I forgot that he was indeed a dragon). That's why he is basically ADHD on roids at the start of the book, and even when he was tricked and wearing the band, it was specifically on his head to symbolize the mind must be controlled. The one mistake in here was assuming that Hogwarts legacy was "conservative". The dev team of Hogwarts legacy were actually not anti-woke. The truth is the opposite.
