Agree. One of our best debates was on abortion. We had a full class discussion and then were divided into those pro and contra according to outer views. We then hdmmad to research for next week's debate ( which we wanted to win). The best was: those pro abortion had to research and debate against and vice versa. What I find crazy is I bet you any money that these people have no intention of claiming all abortion needs to end that's what the debate was about. That's why they wanted to talk. If you had my view it would be a case by case scenario on who or what the government allows. In Ireland we were promised a hard case only policy which corelated to 400 cases and we saw 6.6k operations come from that in one year. That's 6.2k lives ended outside of what the people were voting for. It's very important people are allowed to speak and have their views listened to as it leads to laws that reflect the intentions of the country.

In America 4 states allow abortion up to full term or even after birth. The details are too horrific. I'm pro choice but within reason, its not just a quick fix and there really has to be an early enough cut off date even if there are other medical concerns, sure of there is a danger to the health of the woman or if there is something seriously wrong with the baby then its acceptable. People should be more careful, late term abortions should be illegal and it really has to be strictly controlled. It's just the bs argument of "bodily autonomy" for some people although tbh with the mentality of some people it's probably best they don't have kids at all. These arent protests when they threaten and harass people and this shows how some people in britain are that intolerant towards anyone who has a different opinion and will threaten them until they dont share their opinion on something thats important to them
