I was born a man... but I have a quite androgynous voice I sound both tbf jajaja, so I have been "misgendered" my entire life, when I was a teenager like 15-16 it was quite saddening in a way for sure cause is the age you want to feel "grown up" but there was a point I just stop caring and laugh it up, I'm 30 now and last time it happened was like three months ago I got called "lady" by a woman who was working on a Walmart, she didn't see my at first (cause I don't look like a lady xD) and when she saw me she was so embarrased and way more worried than I was I told her "Don't bother about it I don't get insulted if you call me a lady, I think being a woman is admirable and should't be an insult, is actually flattering so I'm fine" it was a cute moment 😅

It's hard to get a good job rn. A lot of places can't trust resumes or experience because people can write a glowing resume or go to college but be the worst worker you could ever imagine, and not worth even 20$ an hour. You gotta prove yourself, be the best and take charge, show you want to be even better. Having people skills also is a huge plus, you kinda have to like your bosses to an extent to begin with. Show them who you are, get that motivation energy, can do attitude. I never could be that person who says "that's not in my job description, I don't get paid enough to care, ect."

I had men standing in my doorway an inch from my face when I opened my door, others threatened me in front of staff. But it can be wrong on the receiving end too, or on no end in particular, they simply don't fit in. My point is, feeling bad about something doesn't automatically mean it actually is bad. It can also mean we are overdoing it, or don't fit in with something/someone else. As said, I'm emotional, but how I feel is different from how I act and what I ask for due to the feeling.

The bus was late so i started walking up i think the left side of Massachusetts (?) to get to P St. A man was sprawled across the sidewallk half in the tree planting, low iron borders. Omg! I ran into the barbershop right there and exclaimed a man is hurt and he needs 911! The barber, working on a guy, chuckled at my urgency, said oh he's always drunk, don't worry an ambulance is coming now. I felt so deflated and frustrated that this was a routine thing for the man. I said OK then and left. Sure enough an ambulance nearby was approaching. But it is jarring the first time you see it.

Disrespect requires intent and if someone is assuming something based on visual observation then it’s not necessarily intentional. Plus, whether or not it’s harmful or exhausting to the receiving person is completely dependent on that persons ability to differentiate ego from reality therefore allowing them to not feel hurt or exhausted by the unintentional misgendering because it allows them to see things objectively rather than subjectively

@@marydoty3495 yeah that’s what affordable healthcare is. I’m not really sure what you mean. Are you talking about how you have to pay for the insurance only to get a medical bill in the mail? That is how all insurance works except Medicaid (I don’t know about Medicare because I’m not at that age yet)

@@adriannavarro2536 from what I was told that’s how it used to be. Now it’s not. Some people change their gender identity on the daily... so how are other people supposed to read their mind? I know people who are gender fluid spiritually including myself, but we live in this world as a cis and I would never expect anyone to know I have gender dysphoria or to call me by a certain pronoun because it does not dismantle or invalidate my personhood or identity, which i fully acknowledge is just an idea!!
