I will make a correction of a screw up of mine as multiple people have pointed it out. I should not have used the word "significant" when talking about statistics. I confused the common definition of "significant" with the scientific definition of the word. "Significant" in statistics means that the numbers you found are 95%+ likely to not be random chance. It is calculated with a mathematical equation and is represented by the letter "p" in studies. If that number is greater than 0.05 then your study is garbage. The lower that number is, the better. When I initially said "significant" I meant the common use of the term when describing a scientific paper which caused the screw up. I should have kept the scientific definition of the word and used a different term.

Why do you support the IPCC's theory on anthropogenic global warming then? They've been out of their own 95% CI multiple times and just changed the model in an ad hoc fashion? I'll get the popcorn.

To add on and to clarify, just because the study found no statistical significance on whatever it is they are researching (e.g. correlation between A and B) doesn't mean that the study is garbage. It just mean that there is no statistical significance to whatever it is they are researching. It does play a vital role in the scientific community and usually used as reference in case someone else managed to find a statistical significance for that particular topic or if there is a debate on that particular topic. What makes a study garbage is the following (This is what I found in some studies, so you can point out what I missed or where I was wrong): 1. The discussion does not correlate to what the results reflect 2. There is no mention of the problems they have encountered that may altered the results (implying that the study is "perfect") 3. Their sources contradicted their study 4. The study lack the ability for others to reproduce it (The "Vaccine is linked to Autism" study is famous for this. When the author reluctantly gave the scientific community his original paper, many sections in the methods were altered to the point that it cannot be reproduced. Another group of scientist were forced to do a brand new study with different methods that proved the original study to be false) 5. The results and methods are questionable (based on your judgement) 6. It was funded by an organization (This does not necessarily make it a bad study. But it may introduce biases, so keep that in mind) 7. The authors are not professions in the field that they are conducting the study on (e.g. an author with a PhD in environmental sciences conducting a study on medicine) 8. There is evidence that they stated what are they going to do, but did the opposite and did not mention it (e.g. stated that they have a large sample size, but only have a small sample size in reality) Here is an example of a garbage study: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9819315/ Sorry for the long explanation! Please let me know if I miss anything.

Theyre not far left, theyre just woke progressives. To actually be far left you need to know a thing or two about politics and economics, so you can develop and articulate a position on certain topics. For example I believe utility companies should be public property and it makes no sense to have profit incentives or competition in markets for things like electricity, running water, phone or internet lines, or mobile networks. Having several redundant competing nation-wide cellular networks just raises costs for everyone with no benefit for anyone. This arguably makes me pretty left. Wokies arent able to have an opinion on something like that because they dont think.

One thing I want to say about Lara Croft, her entire journey in Angel of Darkness is unexpected. She meets an old friend and suddenly he gets killed and she's being framed for his murder. She doesn't have any time to be shopping for extremely padded outfits. She isn't in the woods ever in Angel of Darkness. She's always inside of buildings or on the streets. @@onpoint2292 That's the beauty of peer review It is not limited to a specific group of individuals, but rather open to anyone and everyone who possesses equal knowledge in the field, regardless of their beliefs or biases. This is why it is called “peer” review. It allows you, as well as other experts, to scrutinize studies across various fields by various groups and raise questions or concerns. Your expertise enables you to question studies in any field you are knowledgeable in regardless of if that study is intended to be taken as fact by its authors. While it is true that there are organizations dedicated to the due diligence of peer reviews, their verdict is not automatically considered true and final. Even their assessments can be called into question if found inadequate or bias motivated (TBYS Did it in this video). The existence of these organizations is not intended to serve as the ultimate authority, but rather as a convenience for researchers and scientists

The reason nobody knows how to properly research is because college teaches people to only read the abstract. Most professors don't bother to check the sources in essays because they simply don't have the time and TAs obviously aren't going to give it their all either. So why bother creating a super solid argument? Getting the grade is all that really matters. If only universities had a bunch of infamously useless courses they could cut in order to hire more people in actually useful courses, but unfortunately you really need to take a course on ancient Europe to understand how physics works.

In conclusion, cite every single source you use for your essays and subject presentations, and source check everything Greetings from México, love your content!

So stay fat and unhappy (actual reality of obese people) and you’ll be skinny. Noah, when will you all learn that being a spineless parrot of mainstream talking points will NEVER earn you enough social credit to be free from getting cancelled. We have seen it over and over, even the most woke, most famous, beloved, etc., will do ONE thing someone on twitter dislikes, and they’ll end up apologizing over and over and will never be forgiven, and never recover. Toxic, shtty, unhappy, people will project and stake their claim on faux-moral-superiority hill and will never relinquish the chance to belittle others. They don’t buy things they support, they dont care to make themselves nor the world better. But you cant blame Noah. Propoganda and social engineering is so strong, even the smartest, most skeptical, scientists will parrot nasty propaganda without questioning it, no matter how incongruent it is to their own beliefs. One thing I've noticed with wokeys is when debating, morality, ethics, good faith, etc go right out the window. As long as they can appear correct/superior, nothing is off limits. I've had them admit, almost verbatim, that they were wrong about a subject, but say they support it anyway because what they want is more important than anything else. Lies, deception, bad research, etc, etc are their goto and they KNOW it and accept it as correct to "defend what they want".

"2 out of 3" Years and years ago I worked for a company that specialized in carrying out surveys of public opinion for commercial and political purposes via the telephone. The trick to getting the results that your clients may prefer to have is in how the questions are worded Reputable independent organizations like the one I worked for specifically trained us too never under any circumstances ask leading questions but to instead just ask direct questions and allow the person being poled to say what they want to say then ask any follow up questions you may have. That being said all of the disreputable ones which are always highly biased and almost exclusively work for dubious special interest groups will do really underhanded shit like putting words in the mouths of people being surveyed, asking deceptively worded questions, asking leading questions designed to get the specific positive responses they want or even straight out lying to people about the purpose of the poll and then bullying them into giving the answers they want.

As someone who has been a gamer for many years, not only do women get represented in video games, but it seems like important male characters almost lack in some, they are represented so much in fact, that it is obvious that they consciously do it, it feels forced and not random. Leader characters with the answer for everything, or the ones who are in charge in specific situations are more often than not female characters in some very mainstream and huge video games. Also what is all this talk about sexualizing female characters like in tomb rainder? she's literally wearing what the complaining women would swear has nothing to do with sexualizing oneself if they walked around in public like that themselves irl.

Kevlar is pretty useless unless you want concealed armor. Most of this time, it doesn't even stop larger pistol calibers, and I dont think any will stop rifle rounds. If you want something and it has to be discrete, it's fine. Otherwise, a plate carrier would only be good in active combat areas where gunfire and fragmentation are constant. Chest rigs are similar to a plate carrier, but they don't hold plates, only equipment like radios, mags, and medkits. Tomb raider is based on acrobatics and cool stunts, which, with all my experience in all these types of equipment, is pretty much impossible with any of them.
