On the latest Holy Post podcast, co-host Skye Jethani bemoans the current state of discourse where you get labeled a "progressive" merely for railing against "patriarchy" and white Christian "hegemony," promoting "racial justice" and demographic-based restitution, embracing critical theory, theorizing about racial in-groups, and assuming sexual egalitarianism is now the default position for American evangelicalism. Come on, people!

This is lolerific. Nice job, WPC. I love how these guys have now moved into the camp of if you're against CRT or whatever you want to call this post modern view on race, then you are just against speaking on the topic of race/racism. I am anti-CRT, whatever you want to call this less than 100 year old movement, and my pastor did a sermon a few weeks ago, and in it he destroyed racism/partiality, didn't even need to spend that much time on this obvious sin and it was very clear and a great sermon. This is how we know that chumps like this do not understand their fellow evangelicals, but they'll rail against and gossip about them all the time. God hates stuff like that. Their elitist attitude toward the average dude in the pews just screams "I'm better than you."

I used to listen to Holy Post, kind of liked Skye, tolerated Mr Veg, but couldn't stand the lady called Christian. Glad I stopped, it was just depressing. Good to see I am not alone. Good work!!

Complains bitterly that there is no middle ground, and proceeds to demonstrate, with his comrades, just EXACTLY why there is none! His mantra (or whatever they call it in Leninland) could literally be, "I just can't wrap my head around...< insert any idea to the right of Marx>" He clearly can't even gag out that conservative Christians might be something else other than enemies.

The upcoming United Methodist Church split is between the minority white liberal members in the U.S and the majority conservative black African and Asian members on the African continent and in the Pacific rim.

Maybe your original gripe is happening today because many of the evangelical leaders have adopted worldly standards and substitute these for biblical standards. I have served in Latin America, and your statements about Latin America is not right. Your statements reflect a very non-biblical foundation in your theology and practice. You need to read Jude and heed the message.
