We were still trying to decide what we felt back then. I'm 35 now. And have always been bisexual since I first realized what that was. But didn't ever act upon anything until MUCH later in life. I had a very serious boyfriend for almost 5 plus years I believe too. We as adults should NEVER have allowed this to be shoved down anyone's throat. I was losing hope there for a while before starting to see the push back. Especially from younger generations. EVERYONE should be allowed to show PRIDE in what they believe in. As long as we respect other perspectives. Things never needed to be this complicated. Children now more than ever need to be able to stay innocent as long as possible. As it should be. I am a parent of a child at this school. They REFUSED to honor Memorial Day until they apologized only after there was parental backlash. That was after sending out multiple pride day emails. Just went to the graduation ceremony yesterday and there was no pride flags, trans flags or agenda... It just shows us what they are doing when parents aren't around.

The week before their performance they have in-house rehearsals which means that they are having dress rehearsals in the Performing Arts Center. Apart of these rehearsals is getting dressed they use the open house where the seats are to get dressed since it is only females in the dance company as well as the teacher is female so there is no males within the building. The dance teacher had to schedule a time in order to reserve the p a c and was requiring anyone else who needed to enter the lobby to go around the building and not through the building. The athletic director messaged the dance teacher trying to come through the house of the Performing Arts Center. The dance teacher told him no and that there were girls undressed- girls who are underage. He told her in response that well they should just duck and hide behind the chairs. She tried calling him to prevent him from coming into the building, but before she could get ahold of him he had already entered the building and began walking through a room full of 100 undressed minor females. He didn't care nor did he get in trouble. In fact he is still employed and the dance teacher got in trouble instead. Parents would call the principal and superintendent, but all the backlash went to the dance teacher and not the athletic director. I offered to report it to the news for my sister as she was in the room in just a bra and underwear, but she said that all attempts to place complaints and concerns were pushed away and then the dance teacher would get yelled at. So personally I'm homeschooling my children cause F that. And I went to that same high school.

A few months ago just before school ended, my High School had one of the art teachers organize a paper where people wrote their names down in support of the LGBTQ+. This art teacher was my art teacher from a previous semester and she said "Come on and sign it!" I didn't want to, so I said no. A few days later, I was absent from school for most of the day because of an appointment or something but I came back to the paper hung on the wall and my name was written onto the paper. I went to the principal and I said "My name is up there, but I didn't write it down and I told the teacher I didn't want to write it down." Obviously someone had forced my name onto the paper without my consent, and even after I explicitly said "no". I told the principal "That's not right. I shouldn't have to have my name forced on there, especially behind my back without me knowing about it." And the thing I hated the most was that it was done while I was gone and away from school, as if they thought I wouldn't notice it. So the principal looked my name up in the school system just to make sure only I had that name, and there was only me on the list. So the principal had ordered someone to cover it and scratch it out, and I am so thankful and grateful towards him that he listened to my reasoning and he understood the situation without making such a big deal about it.

As a high school student I am straight and are school pushes lgbtq on us but one time I said to someone I think there are only 2 genders 30-60 minutes later I got sent to the principal and suspended for 7 days so the day that I got back everyone was like what happened why were you gone i said I was suspended so the next day a hole group of kids got shirts that’s said there are only two genders and gay parents were saying this is a hate crime and others heard the story of me getting suspended and said that it is so stupid and that a kid can’t say his opinion.
