This kid is considered by many to be the best Left Back prospect in the world...why would we not go after him? Also...nobody saw Ramsdale being pushed out of the team and he was voted GK of the year last year. Arteta has shown that nobody is safe and that we will consistently go after the best players in the world. White is no different than anybody else. He has to fight for his position. I love White, but he isn't the best 1v1 defender in the world. Hato and Timber are both better at that. If we want to be competing for the top trophies every single year, we need to consistently be looking to bring in the best players and never settle for a player just because he has been able to do a really good job. Zinchenko and Jesus are proof of that. When they came in Arsenal fans were excited and they almost helped us win the title last year, but this year, we have seen how they haven't really upped their levels and now they both struggle for game time.

Ben White won't be sold. I feel Gabriel is the one that's going to leave this summer, not because the manager or I want him to. Depending on the transfer window, Ben will still start at right-back and Timber will start at left-back. If Gabriel leaves, then Hato is the perfect replacement and if he doesn't, what a player to have in rotation.

@@morgan3714 I hope not, but a player's future is not up to us or even the club staff. If his head is turned for a massive wage increase and if it's more important than his Arsenaly journey, then he will leave. I have a strong feeling that's why he was dropped at the start of the season.

People wanted to see Zinny on that midfield role on the left side but if anyone from our defense can do that pretty effectively ots Timber, Hato LB timber in the mid is definitely something we could see if we do sign him

Arsenal must get rid of Zinchenko and buy Jorrel Hato. Zinchenko has now cost Arsenal the premier league title again with his defensive frailties which disrupts the function of the team. His defensive weakness puts a lot of pressure on the other players.

This is one, we definitely need over a new forward. Even though I hope it's not the case, Gabriel may be sold this summer. I feel his head was turned last summer and perhaps he pushed for an exit. That's maybe why he was dropped at the start of the season. Kiwior as you mentioned, is most probably going to move as well. So this signing is a must.

I don't think we have the funds to spend £40mil on a squad player even after sales. Vieira epitomises that, what a waste of money. With CDM/Left 8, and striker as starting priorities and a Saka rotation player as the 3 main priorities, our budget looks capped at that. Nketiah, Partey, Smith Rowe, Ramsdale out, + transfer funds, and then, for example, and Isak/Watkins/Solanke level striker, Bruno G/Frenkie De Jong, and a competent right winger, where do we have this much to spend on youth?

We literally have 5 spare center backs. Kiwior, Tomy, Rice, White, and Timber. All can play center back if needed.

​​@@coolerdude42 it's not just about being able to play centre back. Saliba is the CCB when the left back inverts. Nobody else in the squad can do it as well as him and why Saliba missing is much more damaging than Gabriel missing. That's why Diomande is also needed.
