I received this model two days ago. It is in like new condition and I received the full kit. It is definitely exceeding my expectations. Fit and finish is wonderful, and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the 8215 movement. It is keeping +5 sec/day accuracy and there is no seconds hand stutter whatsoever. When you wear it, you do not hear the rotor. Also, I just love the all-brushed BOR bracelet. Extremely comfortable! I got mine for $350 all in, so I think I got a pretty nifty piece for the price. Love this watch!

I have just received the latest version of Wolbrooks Skindiver and as you have said in your updated description it has vintage lume that now glows green, a hacking movement that has 60 hours power reserve but also the bracelet now has a new clasp with 5 micro adjustments which is really quite nice and adds to the comfort . I really like it.

I am "high-end" watch collector - Breitling, IWC and so on - I wanted a "beater" watch or something to travel with in this crazy world - I love this watch so much I have 3 now - just like the way its feel on the wrist and the look. For the money you can't go wrong. Dead accurate as well.Lum is okay wish it was seiko in brightness. other than that you love wolbrook.

Excellent review. I was wondering about this rebooted heritage brand. I also agree with one of the comments below. I would have liked to see a bit better movement in there, e.g. a Miyota 9 series . Too bad about the poor bracelet.

Nice review. But why would one wear a skin diver with a suit? When wearing a suit, a dress watch would be more appropriate even if James Bond wears a dive watch with his tux. Maybe that came from him wearing a neatly pressed tux underneath a scuba suit.😂

Received my Wolbrook last week & I’m not convinced that I like it. The curvature on the glass creates such a distortion that I keep thinking the plastic film is still affixed … it bothers me. Maybe I’ll get used to it, but it’s a disappointment compared to my other timepieces.

They could have had a hit with a movement worthy of the price. I can buy a $100 watch with a Miyota 8 series movement any day. It's a shame.

I see your point but there are other factors that go into pricing to operations cost being one of them. They are small team based out of France so they don't have the economies of scale some of the larger groups or the Chinese manufacturers have.

I received an email from Wolbrook advising me that the watch I reviewed is in fact the Wolbrook Skindiver WT Automatic Apollo 11 Special Edition from 2019 and not the current version offered on their website. In the interest of transparency I have updated the description. Please refer to the description for clarifications I received from Wolbrook. It appears Wolbrook has made quite a few improvements from the 2019 limited edition version reviewed in this video which is a great sign and offers an even better value proposition from the initial version offered in the kickstarter.
