Regarding itemlevel, you can get the highest stats drop from iLvl115, but from iLvl151 you stop getting lower level affixes, so its best to farm items over iLvl150.

FYI, for offline testing, get a bunch of Genesis stone (tier 12 gem) and put it in a belt/ring/ammy with support I. Then reroll using entrophy orb. Do it until you get +1 or +2 ailment stack(s) inflicted

What gem rolls into cooldown reduction? What about main stats, move speed and stamina points? I don't see those stats on any gems. Maybe it's mentioned in the video, I kinda skipped forward several times because repeat info and stuff I already knew. Is there a resource for this anywhere? Also some info on what you can roll with genesis stones and a list of sarisel mods maybe.

I am not sure, but when you were comparing the amulets, the fact that the new one didn't have the crit chance from the gem might have lowered the average damage number. I believe it takes crits into account. I could be wrong, maybe a test is in order?

Problem with this system for re-rolling gear is materials costs, especially on legendaries, if they had just added disenchant so you could DE rares and legendaries for the tears and orbs

PoE doesn't have a disenchant feature and it is the best crafting system in ARPGs today. Making the end game crafting materials rare, is what makes them valuable and makes the gear valuable. Wolcen is positioning itself to have an end game economy like PoE. So, they won't be adding in a disenchant feature as that diminishes the values of the items that you find.

1.there is actually another ingame mechanic that you can use to improve your gear.Notice how there is a quality rating star on every gear except accesory those star determine how high your affixes roll if you shtick it into the dark market increase item quality tab you can increase the roll number of your affixes without changing the type of your affixes. 2.for example a helmet with 3/5 star rating can use the dark market increase item quality 2 times and each time you use it,it will increase you affixes roll without changing any of your affixes(from my experience of 100+ usage)like rage and willpower reduction 25% to 28% it wont change it from rage and willpower reduction to cooldown reduction or anything else. 3.best way to use it would to be use the guide above to get the gear level and affixes that you want and shtick it into the dark market increase quality tab.[IMPORTANT NOTE :DO NOT CANCEL PROJECT YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ITEM BACK IF YOU CANCEL PROJECT or if you a senior Halapeno shtick you can go click cancel project to try it yourself] . 4.Extra info your gear level also affect abit on how high you can roll affixes for example a level 30 gear can only roll maximum of 15% cooldown reduction while a level 150 gear max is 30% and above. I haven't really found a "perfect" item yet, but the thing I've been mostly doing is finding a yellow item with the baseline stats I want, then using the town features I upgrade the rarity and quality of the item until it's a 5 star legendary with 6 different blue text bonuses, and at this point I'm really struggling to find replacements. My build feels close to finished now, all I need to do is reach level 90 and wait for more content to release lol.

It's a little boring really. Something feels wrong with the leveling. Like the paragon system in Diablo made sense as a post-game scaling system, but it feels like until you reach level cap in this game your game is incomplete, but the experience gain even from the highest level floors is just not enough. I'm starting to feel the sense of what I'm doing is pointless now since gear has stopped scaling in level at 189 and yet I still have 13 more levels to grind until I hit 90.

Most likely editing the json save file of his offline char. The save file isn't binary but text and has an easy to interpret format if you just read into it a little. Can't do that with online chars though. Might ruin your offline experience if you edit the files but you can always treat it as experimental mode and use the gained experience for your online builds. P.S. A source of more crafting materials online would be the black market. Last i checked though most of its projects are broken atm. and i'm not sure if the last patch fixed the issue because i didn't dare to try. Can crash your game or even corrupt your online save in which case you won't be able to login anymore or so i've read.

No, the max level of item you can have is the level of your biggest expedition. As Diablo 3 have unlimited levels of Paragon, Wolcen seems to have unlimited levels of items that keep growing as you are able to clear expeditions.

- ARPGs are not only isometrical Hack'n Slash, yet you only cite those kind of games - The fact that many games artificially expend their lifetime with RNG coinflips doesn't make this system less trashy and more fun. - I am not even bothered by the fact that you can't choose which final stat you obtain in the end, I am bothered by the fact that the one-line reroll item doesn't let you pick which stat line is going to get rerolled. A decent way to implement RNG stat reroll is to make you use global reroll until u get something "not too bad" then the one liner let's u try to get rid of the last few lines you don't like . Here there is no point using the one liner at all

Yes, some things you said are true, but have nothing to do with RNG of crafting in ARPGs of this kind, the part that does is you thinking that you cannot choose which stat to roll, even though using gems in sockets of the gear you roll does just that, and most of ARPGs like Wolcen do not even do that. And with the amount of loot that drops later, you don't even need to roll and craft anything that doesn't have sockets. You will actually have plenty of them to choose from, IF you spend time looking at the loot in the first place.

Why doesn't unique items scale properly or is it a bug?

I don't know if they scale per say. Since some of the uniques have such a huge game play change, you'd still use them even if the stats are not as good. But I found that they do scale a bit. I got that unique shield at lvl 30 that allows you to use sacred spells. And it dropped again at lvl 60. The stats are slightly higher. But i noticed the unique rings scale disproportionately from the normal items. I got a few unique rings, when compared to a lower lvled version, they were massive stat boosts.

No. First roll sockets(so you force the socket afix on the item), then make it legendary, THEN at the end upgrade its quality. I was surprised to see this dude having a weapon under 500 damage at lvl 90. I am 72 and I made my self a 850 - 2 axe with ease. I make 50+ above my level expeditions... This game is bugged beyond repair if you ask me, shame cuz the ideea was so good.

@@JD-hm2wo Roll 3 sockets, dont fill them, go to dark market and make it legendary(increase rarity), then dark market again and increase its quality till it reaches 5 stars. At the end roll the 2 tier 1 offence and 1 tier 3 and put flat damage in tier 1 and some crit or % damage on the tier 3. Profit.

i like this system a lot better than PoE's. It's like PoE's crafting system, however, you're not using your crafting materials as currency T_T The mats build up pretty quickly, but i know what you mean. The investment cost is high, and in combination with RNG, can feel like a huge waste if you don't get anything out of it
