I could be wrong.... but CRAFTING will NOT be in at release... what they showed was ENCHANCEMENTs. As I understand the crafting system is supposed to be far more granular - combining pieces of gear ie pommel / hilt to create what you want.

I've been looking at a few videos of Wolcen, I love ARPGs with several thousand of hours in PoE and D3 but I wasn't sure if Wolcen would be something for me, especially only rarely seeing Mage builds which I generally play. This video made me think, I'll have to look into it a bit more until tomorrow... I've been aching for a fresh ARPG experience

It has none at the moment. They have said they are going to keep adding content and quartly updates and seasons. and that to fund that they will probably add microtransactions. But not P2W . We will have to wait and see. How that kind of thing is implemented makes a ton of difference.

@@eamk887 That is how things work. The sales of the game pay for the fact that it took 4 or 5 years making it. When games were just done when you bought them , on a disc or cartridge , then 1 price made sense. But now you have to have a continuing revenue stream to finance the amount of post-launch content people expect. Why not make it free to play to begin with ? Because you need a very large amount of players for that to be profitable. And they didn't know if they would get that. Plus , it started as a Kickstarted game. All of the backers ALREADY paid for it. To take their money , and give it away free to everyone at launch would make people furious. I understand why you would ask , but not every situation is the same.

@@adgato75 Yeah, I don't buy that explanation. If they want to add microtransactions into the game, be my guest, but if they won't change the game to free to play, I probably won't buy it. Microtransactions simply do not belong in games that cost money.

80C is fine for gpus you dont need to worry about it

Actually for newer GPUs 80c is way more than usual, CPUs are the ones that are reaching high temps.

trust me you can get away with it. my titan goes up to 84C at times (as it is a reference cooler) and it is fine for years now. nvidia claimed these things are fine under 100C. But if you really worried about temps i would download msi afterburner or evga precision and just set a max temp instead of vsync.

I tried the early access and it was a good experience, the gameplay is fluid and good graphics. I I didn't find bugs. But the game felt incomplete. I'm really hoping the game release soon.

Wolcen rips off Diablo 3 badly, anywhere from menus and UI... all the way to skills, bosses and regular enemies. It has some original ideas, but the look and feel of the game is blatant plagiarism

@@toml7320 sure, first off it had active dodge rolling mechanics, which is very nice once you learn what the bosses do, most the skill runes (a d3 system) have or seem to atleast have enough of an impact to not be meta picked (some more than others) and you can choose more than 1-4 atleast in beta It has a passive tree more akin to PoE, skills have to be found and then leveled again more akin to poe. Boss fighting is much more active and you need to watch what you're doing not to get caught and be really reactive (unless you massively outgear it) Its online hub based (with optional offline mode) and trading is allowed The items (from what I've seen) can drastically change the way your character plays. The only thing I'm worried about is the meta tbh the game is quite fun and the first act was great to playthrough and cant wait to play the rest. It took good things from d3, good things from poe and added some of their own ontop. But noone knows what endgame will be like.

@@BasegFarmer Dodge/Roll is present on console D3 games though and I'm not sure it offers much. Anyhow, with the latests PCs/Next Gen Consoles, would you ever use the roll over that instant-transmission-esque teleport/mobility skill? Or do they have substantial Cooldowns? The rune issue in D3 comes down more to the lazy itemization than anything else, D2 hardly had this problem. So it rips off PoE instead in this regard... I guess I need to watch some more vids, everything I've seen online of this games makes bosses look like GR45 Rift Guardians. I'm not sure I'd count trading or the impact of items as being incredibly unique, they kind of define this genre and have for a long time. While I want to play the game, I'm almost certain that other games (including D4) will do the same and gradually progress beyond this. @@toml7320 dodge roll has 4 uses and then a CD timer to get each back D2 didnt have a skill rune system thats why it didnt have this problem, you cant compare. it does take, from both games, theres nothing wrong with that, league of legends stole from dota, fortnite stole from pubg, its about how you change the mechanic to make it feel different. noone knows what the endgame is, noone has been level 90 to try the new endgame so you will find no videos of the endgame. and ill agree the mobs do seem sort of similar to D3, but again we have only seen act 1, and 3-4 of the rift style bosses, just know while some things may look different, the game itself does not feel this way. the game feels a lot different, gameplay wise, than any other arpg, the skills feel really impactful Like i said, no one knows how good the game will be passed act 1, i could be wrong, it might be absolutely dogshit but i had a very good time playing the first 20 levels, the act was well put together, the story is good, and the act boss for only the first act was pretty awesome.
