Here from heartstopper!! This song is so powerful on its own, but heartstopper made it even stronger. Its such an important moment in the series, with nick looking into eating disorders for charlie, and seeing what darcys home life is like for her and how hard it is for her, its so powerful. Its genuinly amazing how realistic heartstopper is really, it captures so many sexualities, lifestyles, problems and everything, all in 1 thing. Truly amazing ❤❤❤❤❤

Season three is genuinely amazing. It brings few up a lot of things that need to be heard, such as Charlie’s eating disorder and ocd, how hard it is to be in a relationship at their age, and so much more. I’ve never watched something i connect to. ANYWAYS 🤓😅

She looked right at me and smiled. After the show, waited with.my son by the bus, she came out, saw me and said, " you're the guy with the lighter, so cool!" I don’t want to sound tragic or sad but I’m mid 50s divorcing & moving to Spain after a pretty miserable life,, I just wanted to say this song ( especially the performance at Best kept secret festival) and your band and other great performances like wicked games .... ect we’ll probably saved me. Your such an excellent band I’m definitely going to try to see you live. deep inside I absolutely bloody luv you. That’s it emotional outburst over, Tx for your excellent music.

Franco. This song is so much to so many. It hurts me how good it is and how it makes me feel each time I listen to it. I am 50 next month and when I saw Wolf Alice live the first time it was my first gig in over 20 years. It felt strange because I was surrounded by, teenagers and I mean that in the most respectful way. It felt very odd to start with and I was very conscious of where my hands were even when moshing. Yeah I was down the front. However the band were amazing and so were the crowd. You sound like you are starting again?. You're as old as you feel so you hang onto that thought of seeing them live and you do it. All the best and be safe in these uncertain times.
@francoharefield91864 жыл бұрын
Hiya Marin Tx for your reply, music seems like the only thing you can rely on... I luv Wolf Alice & have to see them live.. music is pretty much the only thing that’s brings out any real emotion in me, hence the emotional rant. Anyway Tx again. so glad they made it. I've heard some people say music sucks these days and is nothing like it was pre 2000. I disagree. I think we are in the best time ever for new music. We have the freedom to release our songs on the internet unfettered by the demands of major music company nonsense, and suits on the 15th floor making decisions on what's good or not. we are literally in a new music renaissance. First song I ever heard from them was "moaning Lisa smile" and I fell in love with them. "blush" is one of the most magical and gorgeous songs I have ever heard.. I cried through the whole song the first time I heard it.. I know theyre taking a break after this last album but I hope its just that.. a break. I would hate to see them dissolve. so much potential
@77dris6 ай бұрын
Well said. I grew up in the 80s and 90s and most of my peers say "today's music sucks". While the popular music from the 80s and 90s was way better than today, if you look for it, you can find music now that is as good if not better than what was available decades ago. There is just so much more music now, and talented people don't have to rely on music companies to make them famous. There used to be so many talented musicians in decades ago that were never discovered, never made money and thus gave up and never became household names. Now, if you spend the time and look, you can find amazing music.

I love reading what this song means to everyone. For me it's about coming to terms with the fact that no matter how much I try, I will never have a relationship with my bio father and his family. That includes my siblings and all of my nieces and nephews. I'm happy with my beautiful life, but I fear I will always be haunted by a small feeling of emptiness that he caused. But instead of being sad because I blame myself, I'm sad because he's a coward. "I figured out I'm good." I created a beautiful life for myself and he had NOTHING to do with it.

This song and video made me realise it's ok to be trans. The world doesn't have to accept me. I can make work accept me. I have friends that *do* accept me, the rest just aren't friends. Thank you for helping me realise I am beautiful. I am powerful. I am amazing. Thank you for helping give me a voice.

This music video just adds so much more emotion and depth to an already intense and emotional song it’s just so amazing in such an obscure way. First time watching this video, we have no idea who this person is, how they connect to the song, and what it means besides being a vibe type of music video. Being a mysterious addition to an already meaningful song in many different ways to many different people. Already catering to the feeling this song gives just in its lyrics. Then we see the flashback of their life from the very beginning near the end of the video. And why they feel the euphoria, sadness, and reminiscence to this song like we do. How the girl has more flashback time than most other moments of their life. How their transition makes them happy because it’s what they wanted and what they needed, but in order to go through with such a life-altering decision, they had to move on from things in the past that would affect their happiness with their decision in the future. This video is so so so powerful without even too many visuals or without even having to guide you to its meaning. You hear the song. You watch the video. And you understand as it develops. And it’s so simplistically beautiful. Wolf Alice couldn’t have made a better MV for this. It’s amazing. I could write an essay on this video alone. The colors, the meaning, the feeling, the expressions, the flashback, the audio and yet still the visual. It’s amazing. It’s just amazing in such a minimalistic way.

Watched T2 Saturday. Started listening to this band on Sunday and was totally blow away. Monday I search their tour dates and found they played Sunday night in KCMO at The Riot Room. The disappointment was palatable. Definitely won't miss them the next time they come through KCMO. This band has me hooked.

I'm here from Hearstopper, and as soon as I heard the first few notes of this song I FELL IN LOVE and had to find out what it was. I might check out more by the band. that guitar riff is POWERFUL and the whole mood and meaning of the song is insane. I could seriously listen to this on repeat. Btw, who is the person in the video?

I remember hearing Smells Like Teen Spirit for the first time on the Radio. Steve Wright in the afternoon 1991. Amazing and my favourite song from that day. That was until I heard Blush. Just amazing and beautiful. Every time I hear it the hairs on my arms stand up. Impossible not to be moved by this song. Wolf Alice, thanks. X
