Because there being delibrately kept down (radio air time, youtube views manipulated/pushed down whatever you wanna call it) cause of there support for Palestine which I completely agree with (there support for Palestine). The world is run by an evil Zionist regime that you make enemies of if you go against them. They are my heroes, not just for the music but there bravery in supporting the BDS movement (boycott, divestment and Sanctions) against Israel. They risked there career for there beliefs and no doubt they'd be bigger if they towed the line. Last Man On Earth should've been there biggest hit, there no1 and time to shine. This is the first time I've seen a chance to mention all this cause of your comment. I hope they don't get bumped off one day like the lady from The Cranberries so obviously was

Your Love is Cool was reminiscent of early 90's grunge Visions of a Life took a step further in late 90's shoegaze Blue Weekend recapitulates both with 'Smile' and 'No Hard Feelings'... but 'How Can I Make It Ok?' goes backwards to late 80's synthpop. Wolf Alice is so refreshing, yet so deeply rooted in the history of alternative rock

The song is brilliant, and the video clip gives me such a moving and powerful message. As a personal interpretation, it made me think that you shouldn't be afraid of being yourself. If it doesn't affect anyone negatively, you should be brave to do whatever makes you happy. Maybe some people may laugh at you or think you're a fool (e.g., when the crowd rejects to join in), but by showing who you really are, you may lighten up some other people's mood, just like the man who joins in singing. The end is sublime and brought a tear to my eye. We're all human, after all.

I find the video clip distracting, but also poignant. It's karaoke (or lip synch?) and nobody wants to join in when its a "creepy old guy" doing it but one man doesn't care. He just loves the song so much that he has to jump up and join in, and embrace the man that loves the song as much as he. It takes a surreal turn at the end but it feels like the crowd joins in too. It looks on the surface that they may be suddenly gay for each other, but imo they are attracted to the song. They are connected by love.

I'd say this song and the album it's on are proof that good music is still being produced, and I'm a _huge_ fan of '80s music. You just gotta know where to find it these days, 'cause it won't be played on the radio. Thankfully, the internet is a wonderful tool in regards to finding new music that's actually good. Since you like this track, I suggest checking out these modern groups/artists: Pond (their new album, _9,_ is a masterpiece), Tennis, Beach House, GUM, Best Youth, Neon Indian, Cut Copy, Wild Nothing, Beach Fossils, Miami Horror, Stray Fossa, Matt Berry, Sports, Django Django, Small Black, Real Estate, Still Corners, The Zephyr Bones, Drug Store Romeos, Ty Segall, Tame Impala, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, San Cisco, bdrmm, Foster the People, Jay Som, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Hoops, Kevin Krauter, MGMT, Pool Holograph, Great Mountain Fire, Soccer Mommy, and Shiny Joe Ryan. It's all great stuff and there's bound to be a bunch of tunes you'd enjoy.

I am presently addressing & healing from childhood trauma. The lyrics of this song are helping me to heal. "to live in fear is not to live at all". This refrain stuck in my head & it was like a switch went, I just knew, now was the time to get the help I so badly needed. I want to make things ok and I want to make myself happy. Thank you Wolf Alice for writing a song that's providing the sound track to my healing ❤

There's something so beautiful and human about this video. One of the most remarkable videos I've seen in a while. Kind of hits at a sort of nostalgic, once-in-a-lifetime feeling that comes on a night out like this. This sort of ephemeral closeness, where maybe you'll never even see this person again, but it's meaningful enough in that moment. I'm rambling, but maybe some people will get this. Gives me some hope for the future of human connection

Love the song. So dreamy. Reminds me a bit of the cocteau Twins

Heard this on Scott Mills Radio 1. He played it 3 days in a row. I was absorbed in the moment of listening. This is pure joy, tranquility and strength ... I'm happy now

I cant see how they wont sweep the brits with this album, it's flawless. I just listen to the songs and think musically every single one is flawless in every way, its a masterpiece. Not every band can work every single song to this level, but they did it and I can't wait to hear it live.

Upon my first listen of Blue Weekend the day it came out, I stopped in the middle of this song, and came to see if they’d released a video yet. I didn’t even finish the song and threw this video on and fucken BURST into sobbing tears. This song/video is so powerful and I can’t describe it. Wolf Alice on top.

This video reminds me so much of the video from Faith No More with "I started a joke". Brilliant!

This song evokes something in me I cant even explain. Its hit me harder than any song has in a long time. Her vocals are captivating and angelic right from the start and pure throughout and the emotion in her voice as she sings "I just want you to be happy ! Nothing else is as important as that to me! " gives me chills. The overlap with that refrain is sooo perfectly done. Also the changes in this song and the transitions where the guitar parts come in heavy are fucking amazing. God this song and album are such works of art. I've cried to this song already a couple times

This song encapsulates everything that you feel and want to say to your kids as they make their own way in the world, I'm mum to 3 girls and I know it won't be easy. I also know I'm helpless to ease their journeys into the big bad world, other than to be there for them and love them. Maybe that's enough but I wish I could make it OK ❤ Beautiful song, beautiful lyrics, beautifully sung. Totally encapsulating 🥰🥰🥰

One of the best bands of the 21st century, coming from a musicians stand point, this is just beautiful, got a chance to see these guys live in kc like a year ago or two years ago but I remember being at the Riot room up front just feeling the musical energy from Ellie and the boys of course! These guys are gonna be in stadiums soon!

Unfortunately, I have no luck at all with Wolf Alice. The Southside Festival in Germany is only a 30 minute drive away from me. In 2019 their performance was cancelled. For 2020 and 2021 they were back in the line-up, of course the festival couldn't happen. For next year they are not announced and the line-up seems to be already almost complete.

The musical arrangement of this song and Ellie's vocals are an absolute dream, this video is also spot on. How have I only just recently discovered this band, magnificent stuff.
