Nice review Chris. I like that you can add any attachment to the extender and the saw comes off and be used as a hand saw.

I carry a couple short pole and some attachments daily, they're great and I think very reasonably priced. I've got an extending pole which I'm sure is longer than yours that I only use with the saw or the loppers with the long cord which are amazingly handy and highly recommended if you don't have them?! Bike sounded nice😀
@TheCountryCottageGardener3 жыл бұрын
Yeah the loppers are definitely on the list lol. I've also got the spade handle pole plus two shorter hand tools handles. The bike sounded fantastic on headphones lol. I think it's a chap with a Ninja a few doors down.
@RJLgardens3 жыл бұрын
I never bought into the wolf gear, have always gone the dedicated tool route myself. Must be nice for storage in the van though not having loads of bulky handles etc.
@TheCountryCottageGardener3 жыл бұрын
I started as I had a small van and needed to save space. The kits been priceless in quality and space.
@yorkshirehumbergroundsmain95363 жыл бұрын
I’ve just started getting the products mate. That saw doesn’t fit on the standard poles does ? I’ve bought that saw . Would love the cultivator though and some others. Need to sort the van though first. Great video mate
@TheCountryCottageGardener3 жыл бұрын
You won't be without the wolf stuff pal. I've added as I've gone (and didn't show it all in the video) but look back to when I had all single stuff and Rhee wasted room. I didn't even think to try the saw on the other pole but I will lol. Thanks for watching pal 👍
@LawnRight3 жыл бұрын
What a shame you just missed the wolf garten 10 year warranty on the pole.. the other bits might be covered though! 🤔. Yep I got the short pole, and a scarifying head attachment (what else lol). I agree they are good bits of kit
@TheCountryCottageGardener3 жыл бұрын
I really can't complain with the use it's had. I've never used the scarifying attachment, maybe a video on that alone if I get one lol. I think for anyone starting out wolf is definitely the way to go.
@magill40463 жыл бұрын
Looks like a good system, have you ever used the Fiskars quickfit tools? Had my eye on both for a while now
@TheCountryCottageGardener3 жыл бұрын
I've seen them about but tbh as these haven't let me down I've not found the need to try others. Although fiskar are a fantastic brand I couldn't imagine them being a bad range
@333jtj3 жыл бұрын
You should easily be able to get the attachment head off and then screw onto a new wooden handle. Bit of linseed oil, have a pole of the right girth and then cut to length. The long pole is too unwieldy for lots of jobs. With the extender and a new wood handle you'll be better equipped than ever. Wolf garden kit is pretty good, I prefer the wooden handles personally.
@TheCountryCottageGardener3 жыл бұрын
I've already removed it and looking just like you said. The metal had snapped inside so pretty easy to do. Any reason to mess about in the workshop 🤣
@333jtj3 жыл бұрын
@@TheCountryCottageGardener already looking forward to seeing the new beast. I always keep old broken tools and cobble bits together. Some work very well and are even better than the original. Loving the work keep it up

Not a fan of the multi tools. But love that but of jumping into the cup. I bough an oscillating hoe in B&Q for £8 a few weeks ago and love it these things are usually 40 plus. Be a hand tool for you around floor beds etc and scraping moss of drive ways

Am super surprised you've not used the wolf gear but I guess with your larger vans/trucks you have a fair amount of space for tool storage. Looking forward to the decking walkway video pal 👍
