Yes they are. I live in Southaven, Ms. Around here, if you ask someone what they listen to, they usually, and quite proudly say, "Aw man, I listen to EVERYTHING!". What that means is that they listen to classic rock, some pop country, just enough rap, and the local pop station. If you play them stuff like this, the usual response is, "Yea, I'm not really into that weird stuff". That in itself is offensive to me.

@@machete8614 That's unfortunately the way she goes sometimes in smaller towns. There's a trade-off with that though - some other things are better - but if your tastes aren't in the mainstream of pop culture, you're more likely to find a group of like-minded people in a more heavily populated place, like a city.

Wolf Parade has SO many amazing songs. This is one of their very best. I'm so glad they got back together.

True facts. Before COVID, I saw them 3 times in Baltimore/DC, and they were amazing every time. I’m pretty sure they ended their encore with this track each night, too.

@@kriswicks9128 this is the perfect album and show closer track. It's a mega earworm too. You leave the show with this in your head for weeks.

I remember clearly the first time i've stumbled upon this group. It was 2005's ish and I downloaded some random new rock band and I randomly put two of those albums on a cd to listen to in my car (no sd car, no ush, bluetooth phone at this time). First album was apologies to queen mary by wolf parade Second was a demo of "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" by arctic monkeys. I think I kept this CD on my car during 5 years. IT was such a blast.

this audience sucks. i've seen wolf parade 3 times and each time i almost pass out from exhaustion from dancing so much, especially during the last 5 mins of kissing the beehive

This is most indie rock audiences. They’re there to be hip but they don’t actually enjoy the music. The good part is these passive, soulless sheep are easy to push past to get to the front of the stage where all the people who are able to enjoy life congregate.

Same thing that happened to the 4th member who played Guitar & Synths. Went into education. Hadji teaches english and literature at University of Michigan and Dante is learning to teach.
