I watched Wolfs Rain last year (2019) I know I’m late but when it came out I was 6 yrs old. Still this is one of my top favorite anime I even got the Blu-ray and the soundtrack ❤️

Who here 2020? Honestly, this song reminds me when I first discovered it. The world felt so much.. smaller and safer back then.. what I wouldn't do to go back and relive such precious innocent times once more.. Reality changes your perspective forever once you've seen everything for what it truly is. After you experience it something just.. changes and you realize you can never go back to how you've seen things as a child and it honestly breaks your heart. No matter how "bad" you think things were back then, they were simpler and more innocent. In the end, you become a better adult like everyone else who's angry at the world. You start understanding why teenagers and adults tend to give off a certain negative, somewhat sad energy and are angry and frustrated most of the time. It's sad as fuck.

It means you're probably a pretty empathic person. There was a study about music and personalities and they found out, that people, who find sad music beautiful (a mixture of feelings) actually are more likely to feel for others... I don't think, that's a bad thing ;)!

1:33 Makes my eyes tear up even putting aside the context of the scene. *Stunningly* evocative music. I bet you could make an edit where Tsume talks to Toboe where the dialogue is cut out and and it's just Tsume sitting down next to Toboe and it would honestly be just as good. The music in this series is incredible, and carries the series and elevates it considerably. Crispin Freeman's voice work is excellent, of course. What a fantastic scene, made even better by the fact that it's so quick and understated.

Ich watched it for the first time in 2021 and I really love the show. The ending is confusing and you have to think a while about until you get an idea of all the metaphors and symbols it holds. The anime definitely has some weaknesses and fails sometimes to hold all the different story lines together. But after all this anime is great and something you won't find these days anymore.

I mean the most just think of the wolves but damn in this show somehow EVERY character even the humans all were written very unique, everyone of them made a progress (even if jaiden had a bit of less progress I would say) .

I always interpreted how far every character gets to paradise reflecting their true ability to understand the divine. Wolves, who are inherently divine, get the furthest, but it's telling that even the best of humanity, Hub, gets further than even a wolf, as he undetstood his place in the grander scale.
