Love these videos. I had never even heard of Gaggenau until about a year ago when i heard Stave mention it in a video. I just redid my kitchen in a small condo with the 24inch ones. thanks for al the info

Any and every body in the market for high end kitchen appliances should be watching these guys. Good team and good lighting. Francesco kept looking off to his right--maybe there is another camera there, but the editor did not use those takes? It's not bad, but Steve made love to the camera this time, looking straight into it multiple times. Microphones love Steve's voice and speaking mien as well. Also, Steve comes across as well informed discernment on appliances. Francesco knows quite a bit too, and really delivers friendliness. A lot are wishing they could get ALL the best features of both oven brands in one.

Interesting. I just thought Gagganau was a stylized BSH product. Very informative presentation

Gaggenau = timeless minimalist styling. Also, Gaggenau is instantly recognizable.

As an appliance repair service, we find Gaggenau to be a bit over-engineered and complicated. It`s good for great features and provides the feeling of owning something very advanced, but from a post-warranty service standpoint, you need to ensure that 100% of your servicemen are capable of dealing with Bosch products. Wolf makes it much easier, especially considering that their tech support is available to all service providers, not just authorized ones.

To date, I still find the Wolf Convection Steam Oven a superior product. One of the many benefits of the appliance is it’s simplicity, especially for those who may just be starting out with a CSO. Gaggenau can be intimidating with its myriad of control options. Thanks for a great segment on steam ovens today!

I'm moving from San Antonio, TX to Tyler, TX summer of '25. If I were staying in San Antonio, I would get Gaggenau appliances. The support and service are available locally. But, for Tyler I'll be getting Wolf/SubZero as those are supported and serviced locally and Gaggenau is not. If there's one thing I've learned from watching your videos, it's to make sure that repair services are available locally for whatever appliances I would want to buy.

Who in SAT offers service? I am considering Gaggenau but I am concerned about service.

Bosch does the service nationally

Gaggenau has good service in the DFW area and I’d be shocked if they didn’t include Tyler. I bought two Gaggenau convection ovens late last year and could not connect them to the app. They sent out a technician and confirmed that the ovens were fine but that there must be a bug in the software. He reported it to the main programmer at the home office. Within two weeks they released an app update through the App Store and after installing it both ovens connected perfectly to my network. So I’d give their service an A+.

@@davidedwards4720 I do not consider any service farther away than a 45-minute drive as being local. As I understand it, the Dallas servicers are about an hour's drive away.

Have you all done a video on Gaggenau refrigeration? I would enjoy seeing that.

so if you want to do reheat crisp on gaggenau steam, is there a mode or how to learn how you set it up?

Hey, maybe you decided to focus on Gaggenau because of my recent complaints in a couple comments. Thank you: personally, I own no Gaggenau appliances, and I am surely never going to be able to own one. From my research done years ago to set-up my kitchen appliance line-up, their genuine strong asset should be ovens. Somebody took a Miele standard + steam oven and a Gaggenau, and activated them with temperature gauges at the corners of the oven cavity: they reported that in the Gaggenau the temperature (and maybe humidity value if memory serves) were equal across all the cavity: unbelievable.

Gaggenau - horrible overcomplicated interface. A lot of movements to make a simple adjustment. Counterintuitive. Poor touch screen sensitivity. Small screen. If you want to be frustrated- Gaggenau is the way to go.

I thought so too. But after working with the dials, its not that hard, but Wolf and Miele are easier

@@YaleAppliance1 I always think "What would my mom say?" :-) Well, in case of me getting Gaggenau for my mom, she would say: "You just don't want me to be able to cook at all". I get it that Wolf looks a bit "old-fashioned" and "industrial" with simplistic handles. However, if you are into real cooking, and not so much into looks - those handles are so much better: no need to try to read those tiny symbols on small screens of Gaggenau. Gaggenau is like the concept cars: they look amazing, but seem to be very unpractical, and not for real roads.

Ha...You have a point. The product does work well, when you learn how to use it
