***** Doom 4 from what we have been told is still in development but the last concrete info we got from Id was that the game was scrapped and they started over. Doom 4 has been in development hell for a few years. Based on what sites like Joystiq are saying, its a beta for Doom 4 but they are simply calling it Doom now.

Due to issues with the game it was scrapped and Id started over. With that they simply dropped the 4 in the title.

The thing that's so good about it is that they never refer to the villains as *Germans* , they are always called *Nazis*. So germans shouldn't really be more bothered by this than russians should be when a villain is russian. ( Unless they in fact are nazis) I mean, there are at least three characters who are on the good side, fighting the nazis.

Every GTA, you kill American Officers. Or how about Fallout 3, you fight the Enclave/Government. Half Life 1, American soldiers attack Black Mesa. In ProtoType you fight against the government and destroy they're nuclear bomb in the ending. in MW2 you commit a Mass Murderer at an Air Port. Oh and also General Sheperd was American in MW2 and then you kill him because he betrays you and kills you.

If anyone is not aware 1 wolfenstein will have the same low res texture issues as rage 2 doom 4 was canned about 2-3 years ago because it was like cod so they restarted it again no doubt the beta is to test the water to see if people like it to be honest they have go about it all wrong 90's fps do not work now they always fail because there trying to play catch up with modern fps they need to have a low budget small dev time and be on PC first like shadow warrior 2013.
