Agreed. I've just seen too many aggro animals form connections with specific humans that can only be described as loving. No food, no trees, no tricks, just the opportunity to spend time was a reward for those animals.

I could feel Kagans worries for Conan through the screen. It’s hard to see an animal you have put so much work in regress in “flight” behavior. Your soft, calm and assertive energy will win him over again Kagan. As much as I love Jerry’s videos, I’d love to see videos of you interacting and acclimating these wonderful animals. Kagan, You truly are an animal whisperer. The patience and trust you get with each reptile is so gentle. Even though on video it seems like a very short time, I know how long it can take to achieve trust like that. You definitely have a gift! More reptile and snake owners need to become like that instead of always handling with a sense of fear, which is exactly not your touch, you show no fear of the animals, and because of that they read you better as not being a threat and trust you much easier and sooner. Your touch this way with the monitors that Jerry has had for a few years and the way they have become since you joined Jerry there has truly been beautiful to watch. Oh, the teardrop shaped earrings you are wearing are beautiful. Because of them, I just noticed that you have blue eyes. Up until now I thought you had brown eyes. The color of a keepers eyes with reptiles also has an effect on the animals. Darker eyes tend to make animals feel more predated because in nature most predators have darker colored eyes when they are hunting because their pupils are fully dilated because they are in hunt mode. The color of your eyes very well could be part of the trust you build so quickly with animals. Most people don't know about that or have a belief about it, but it is a very true fact of nature. All any person needs to do is think about how they feel when someone with blue eyes is looking at them as opposed to someone with dark eyes looking at them. Darker colors of eyes depending on the situation are intimidating to people psychologically, and animals share a similar psychology. I adore Green Anoles. They Reallly are the best pet lizards for beginners. Or for tiny home/apartment dwellers.. Even for those of us who aren't beginners, theyre still great animals. Awake in the day, personable, hardy and cute, easy to care for. Totallly underrated pets!

I have a wild male that's been on my back porch since winter. He owns the north east corner, somehow makes his way in and out even though it's screened and eats meal worms from my hand. Couldn't agree with your description of them more. It's also a misconception that the brown anoles are more aggressive after months of watching him. He sends browns twice his size running for cover every day

Hey Jerry and Kegan and did you hear what happened to Kenan's He went out to do an emergency rescue for some people that were pet sitting in North Carolina I believe it was and I'll therefore tortoise he got that sorted out but when he came back it was Pete's tonight so the family got together for Pete's tonight and he didn't get a chance to check the animals in the next morning he went out to the feed store and when he came back he found Guapo had been attacked now he assumed it was Lola So he called by Dr Mike and said I'm pointing for Monday and did some triage cleaning the wound there were maggots already started to form on the wound And there are lots of fly eggs all over them so he cleaned them up gave him some antibiotic injections that he had on hand luckily and then he proceeded to fill the wounds with silver dye put Guapo away to check on Lola to make sure that she hadn't been injured he comes in and he sees Petro on the floor near Lola and he's like what the hell actually he said another bad word but I won't repeat that here you can watch the video and see for yourself and he sees Petro line on the floor with a couple of injuries and not even moving he was like he looked dead literally he was like splayed out flat on the floor Legs tucked under so Gwen if Ken check them over and so he had been attacked so he figured that somehow guapo knocked open the lock and Petro came out and the two of them fought for a long time it looked like because Guapo had at least three or four good bite marks on him and so he took Petro and cleaned him up and I bought them in like ICU in Kenan's rum in his house And he's going to point for Dr Mike to see both both of them on Monday he's like just what I need another visit to Mike dr Mike that I don't want to do it he doesn't know if he accidentally left the cage open he doesn't think he did because he's pretty good at that and he thinks Guapo may have knocked open the log by climbing on the wall cage wall but if you get a chance you want to go visit go ahead and visit but exercise that that happened whether no matter how it happened it just said that to do males had to sit and fight each other for like hours god knows how long they were fighting Cause you didn't see him all day Saturday or Friday I think it was whatever day it was he didn't see them all day and then came home and kind of did family night and then went to bed without checking on the animals which of the feed store early Saturday morning yeah Saturday morning and then came home and saw that so he doesn't even know what day it happened it could happen Thursday night Thursday afternoon any day any kind of Friday before Saturday morning well I feel bad for him he just feels awful he's like isn't my fault did I forget to close the door or did guapo unlock it by accident so now he's getting to find new logs for his cages so make sure you don't have the same kind of locks that cannon has that's all I can say For your enclosures there. use at the point is like he thought Lola beat Guapo up she's like all right I got to move her out put her in a separate case and separate the two of them and when he came back in to check her to make she wasn't injured which she wasn't neither of the fields were injured at all It's just the two males got together and decided to fight.. just when you thought it was safe to like keep your animals something weird comes up and happens that's my kind of luck that's how my life operates one bad crappy thing to another well anyway I hope you guys are okay Bupets are OK keep safe and be vigilant To always check your animals no matter what but how tired you are and how no matter how long a gate day you've had you check your animals.

That size difference would only work with one or two pairings in my entire collection and you never know when animals might be moved around. A consistent size just makes sense for me.
